I don’t know where the author is going with the painter because his motives and character is becoming confusing like at one hand he wants to create heaven and wipes the bad and sinful memories but on the other hand he says that the only sin is innocence without purpose, so like his heaven is like full of sin then which contradicts the whole heaven aspect
