I was thinking about it when I was reading it again, and i'm not sure, but I think that, the thing that was outside the toilet was not the real monster, instead it was the doll, that was calling him, trying to woke up him and triyng to enter the room to save him. In the first time I read this chapter, for me the monster was doing it, but he came from de mirror, why it would be outside the bathroom?

Holy s**t ....I was reading this part and I was so involved in it that wasn't even aware wath is happening around. Unfortunately my dog woke up and he has that kind of attitude to sleep with me whenever he is sad , I did not notice him coming near me but I felt something tickling near my feet . I was so afraid and shouted very badly . Everyone from our floor came running ...You can understand wht happened next... 😅😅😅
