To be fair a compass *is*really useful when you don’t know in which direction you should go, So that you don't just end up wandering in circles like Lin Li did for Ten days. After he was being guided he managed to leave the forest after half a day. If he was just walking in a straight line he would have saved himself potentially 9 days worth of travel. He wouldn't have met those people, sure, but he would have had some other adventure instead.

That damn delaying spell is way too broke, its almost single handedly killing this novel for me. That and the power ranking is the most nonsense garbage ive ever seen. I mean mc is lv 1 right and is easily able to kill up to rank 7 beasts. Is rank 7 high, are there tiers above it, what rank is a black dragon, what lv are the people he calls noobs, is there a lower lv than 1? NOTHING ABOUT THIS MAKES SENSE!!!

Was hoping MC would have used the line, "I used to be an adventurer like you..."

McGrenn - Possibly a noble or atleast with an influence within the city, so a possible backer. Young Man - Hopefully not the kind that gets jealous easily and not a d*ck, cuz i think the young woman will notice our lil MC's talent and be fascinated Young Woman - Possible love interest, more likely so.
