its kind of like Cinderella if you think about it. poor step/half sister has to work cleaning the house and live in the servants quarters. now all we need is some mice to turn into horses a pumpkin for the carriage and the horses for footman. lol! just saying. Both the stepmother and her half sister are so paranoid. If they had not invited Lin Che so that could rub their victory in her face, Lin Che and her mystery guest wouldnāt have gotten any attention nor would she be stealing the spotlight from them. It seems that their pride and their snobbishness will lead to their downfall. But, that couple interaction was nice. Itās good to have someone whether it be a friend or a lover have your back in times of trouble. Itās really heartwarming to me to read this.
