I think Anthony needs to think about how he wants to mutate his vestibule because his role as the forward scout for the Colony, makes the vestibule useless, other than as a GPS to figure out how to get back to the Colony or a place with a lot of ants. Essentially his role as a forward scout means that he has no choice but to focus exclusively on increasing the range of the Vesibule, when it comes to how he chooses his mutations, to at least be effective across a strata. Meaning, if he is on the 3rd strata and the Colony is on the second strata he is still boosted by the Vestibule. Actually, maybe that was one of the main reasons why the Colony decided to invade so early, to give Anthony more power and increase his chances of surviving the third strata. It would also give Anthony more options in how he mutates the vestibule. I would be very impressed if the Council thought of the former and blown away if they thought of the latter.
