The pride demon didn't understand the gravity of the situation.

So here's my idea: Demons got to tier 6+ from fighting brutally not really with tactics. So while the more experienced demons will have an idea of how to fight a city, most of these guys are probably glass cannons in a way. They're pretty powerful 1 vs 1, but don't know how to fight in groups or against large groups who DO know how to work together.....sounds like the Colony is their worst enemy!
