The only way that I can think that the Legion won't try to kill everyone is either if Morrelia clears all the misunderstandings and everyone believes her or somehow, the Legion are made to believe that the colony is too much for them. That way they will try to avoid conflict if possible and will definitely go for negotiations when the colony wants to. (minor chance for both, but we can all hope... unless the author gives spoilers and/or has a good conclusion already set similar to these.)
I'm so conflicted. If this was any outher novel I would worship the Legion and Titus especially. He is just the very thing I think of as my ideal character. The legion armor is black, has a crazy sentient axe and just set of revenge. But we follow Anthiny and I hate the legion but at the same time I love them. I'll stay neutral.
Okay so something has to happen or the colony is F'ed. Maybe the dungeon wave will return, forcing the Legion and Colony to work together meaning Titus will see that the ant's are just slightly crazy human beings in insect form. I cant think of anything else other than that. Well I guess, some major change in the demon v legion war could cause the Legion to recall Titus. Or something major happens on the surface causing the Legion to respond since that is still the place that supplies them their members. I like the first option the best because I want Titus and Anthony to meet because I think they would get along splendidly. Also because the Colony and Legion together could do amazing things that neither could do on their own.
oh shit, how is the darn colony supposed to survive with the full deployment of the abyssal legion. Ugh, we can only hope Morrelia can act as connection between the two and allow them to come to some sort of truce, or negotiation/agreement. Man i really don't know how this will develop. It's clear the legion is much stronger since they can and have explored much further into the dungeon. Very much looking forward to future chapters and seeing how this develops further.
