Alert! Some spoilers ahead... I feel really sad for He Zichu. What do writers gain from creating such heart breaking fate for their characters? He is one of first such unfortunate ones in this book. Zhao Liangze and Bai Shuang are next, especially little Ze, as Shuang is going to die soon anyway. Those who are berating my Zichu for hiding the truth from Nianzhi, you are all wrong. Imagine, a man comes to you one day, maybe your close friend, whom you met not long ago, and he tells you that you are not from this timeline, but from an alternate timeline, wouldn't you book an appointment with a psychiatrist for him? And the case of Nianzhi vs Yanran was never a simple one, and this Nianzhi is actually not the real heir. The Nianzhi of this timeline died when she went out to the ocean 7 years ago. And her father, GXW of this timeline also died in that air crash. However, Nianzhi from the other timeline and her father are alive. Zichu is also from that world, and her fiancé.

I don't like He Zichu ,he is forcing himself into Nianzhi so much!!! He is hiding so many secrets about Nianzhi.. He could have make Nianzhi's life easier by telling all of her past secrets but he is keeping it secret till now!! And it's so annoying, he acts like he is very genuine but he is not... At times he is so irritating!! 😑 even though his intention is good n always help Nianzhi!! I still prefer Huo shao over He Zichu!!

Prof. He, why not tell Nianzhi about the truth regarding her family?

I still enjoy reading this novel even though I read many times already I can't get over the excitements

I never being against Prof He. I believe he has a genuine reason for not letting Nianzhi Know the complete truth about her past its a pity he's in love with her though cos her heart is already sold out to Huo Shao. I hope he also finds true happiness cos he deserves it.

I feel sad for Prof He . Fate sometimes plays a cruel joke to people.

So happy she has stated the truth outright. I love Nianzhi but her recent behaviour towards the prof was so unsettling! Now I only hope to see her and HS teaming up to take on all wetblankets. An equal partnership and no more bottling in feelings, even the happy/mushy kind
