ok i understand the deputy minister of foreign affairs' point, and i also get huo shaoheng point...but although shaoheng wants to deal with the problem outside of the Empire he is not that foolish and evil kind of a person so as to endanger innocent lives of those foreign people 😒 it is just that the interests and people of the Empire are of the utmost importance to him (and to everyone in the military and government, as it should be), but it doesn't mean he'll (they'll) neglect the policies on foreign affairs

That is right. Those two idiots are "traitors". I have always believed that if a country has the power to help others, then fine. I commend them and encourage it. But NOT at the expense of the people they were originally meant to protect. The military, government, etc. of a country are supposed to take care of its people FIRST then think of helping another country. If the country isn’t run properly and have many issues, then how can you expect to help others? It would be like trying to save someone who’s drowning and your swimming skills are mediocre at best. You would be lucky if both come out alive with just minor bruises… What the idiots are doing is inviting “snakes” into their den and as everyone should know, reptiles are amazing on how fast they propagate. They already have their very own native snakes to take care of! I support helping others but only if you are truly able to and it doesn’t bring harm to your loved ones. And what these idiots were doing was definitely harming the “country’s loved ones” so to speak.

... This was absolutely stupid. The scale of this deal went well beyond the paygrade of the diplomats involved. This is clearly something that the military needed to be aware of from the beginning. Waiting for it to blow when again, people already have access to the weapons is inexcusably stupid.

Everything in this world is like an intricate piece of puzzle. Try and reduce the scale. A normal individual would never cause themselves harm for the sake of another unless there is something to gain. Now this is barring the value of whatever that is or whether it is worth it or not. Anyway as a citizen of any country you ought to be patriotic because it is your social responsibility. From Huxia's point of view, sir Wu's words are definitely treason and not in the best interest of the country as a whole.
