Ok. This doesn’t make sense. The whole maid-stuff is only necessary because nobles can’t be confidantes and true friends to him and „commoners“ are not allowed around him. It solves the status issue and, as the maid is dependent on him, the trust issue. Dissolving her status would mean she has to leave him and, as she learned the royal families techniques, probably be executed. I think even for his father accepting them just being friends would benimpossible.
