People apologizing for the ML are beyond saving. It’s not only a matter of him being a trashy character that only takes away from the story, it’s also the fact that he is trying to ‘conquer’ the MC in a sexual way. The MC is supposed to be from a higher realm and leagues above these people, yet she is becoming the toy of this person. The worst part, is she is a domineering person, yet she cannot resist and becomes submissive to him. It’s bad character design.
Ok yall 🙄🙄 its already been so many chapters so the personality of the ML ain't gonna be changing so stop with all the complaining already... If yall ain't aware, this is a FANTASY story where love is butterfly and rainbows and evil is all hellfire and brimstone and if you can't stand it then stop reading 😤😤 I love the ML as he is and for those who'll think I like this kind of guy in real life, I also love the sweet and dog-eating MLs too. Each story has their own unique (and not so unique) ML so just deal with it. Anyways, I'm a rereader but just saying this is one of my favorite novels and I would recommend this for story to everybody for all its worth 😜 But yea there goes my tirade 🤗🤗
The two of them really are a pro with playing with words and emotions 😂😂 Is this Lord Owner really Cheng Ying? He seems to have forgotten the past affection then, and starting new by finding her interesting but each time unreasonable familiar feeling invaded him making him contradicting at the same time? The two of them really are too similar that if she had her former power, it is a no wonder they end tragically like last time 😅
Lol @ all the people not liking the ML. It's a fantasy romance novel so I don't know what they expect. Maybe a "normal" romance instead...? But sometimes "normal" romance novels also have this type of ML. I don't know but in most asian fantasy romance novels I've encountered, there is always a ML with some type of trait similar to the ML in this novel. Some not as bad and some way worse. ML's can't always be perfect b/c if they were all prefect, the novels would be hella boring (IMO of course.) And the story would get stale fast b/c the ML would be too predictable.
I kinda... love this ml he funny and is just flirting. Plus some of you said that what he just did could be counted at attempted rap or whatnot. However, first this novel’s genre is FANTASY meaning things like this are bound to happen. And second of all isn’t FL’s scamming and all, illegal too? Why you not talking about that? Plus ofc the ml would be like this in the beginning, because it’s the BEGINNING!!! It does not mean that he will be like this the entire story. At least have some hope and see how he changes, if he does not change then you have every right to leave in fact I will do so too if he really still continues acting like this because that means his emotions for her did not progress. But before seeing the end result do not give up. 🤝👌🏻🙃
