Actually, being trained under lady seph is actually a blessing in disguise I think because from her little demonstration with the needles on the burly elder is a fact in it self that the path of healer lady Seph walks on is stronger than the path of warrior and others. Know this, to kill, immobilized, or inflict the most pain one must study the art of human anatomy alongside training other misceleanous task with it.

Not gonna lie, I do not see the reasoning here. If it was explained that the Second Elder was grieving for his sons loss, and that was why he hates / fears the Koi, I would be able to accept that. Instead, going by the way it was explained, all the Second Elder is doing is making it far more likely that the orphans will rebel, after all who would enjoy being discriminated against? Also, the fact that they all KNOW the second elder didn't support the whole orphan thing even when the previous Clan Leader was alive. This should have been addressed long ago, and he should have been stripped of his rank for abuse of power (after sending his disciples to goad the orphans), and endangerment of the clan.

You pretty much made shin nothing but a puppet... a very stupid, thoughtless, with near zero personality puppet. It makes no since how a person could be so subservient when a majority of his so called clan tried to kill kim and for fucks sake that clans choice shows there lack of trust and familial bond with how they have forced him to be a healer and moved him out of the clan. What kind of idiot would agree to just have his future fully decided by a clan who tried to kill him, took no real acrion to reprimand the aggresser, and then have decided to take away his choice for his life. Yeah people can be stupid but evem at that and and espically in such a wprld where strength is needed to live as you want who in the right mind would just say ph ya your people just tried to kill me and are even deciding ky future but hey **** it we are still "family" so ill follow like a good slave.
