Oof the revelation that Evernight Goddess has noticed him or at least his gray fog uniqueness from long ago hits like a ton of bricks 😱 how naive of Klein and us to think the grey fog is omnipotent? Even more laughable now that we've seen firsthand that it could be completely blocked by cutting off the connection to the spirit world... Seeing that She has been tacitly approving of all his shenanigans and at the very least Klein is somewhat respectful of Her from the beginnings.... Dear Goddess whatever unfathomable designs you have for Klein please, please be don't be an enemy at least?

Excellent stuff but mostly right now I am daunted by the sudden release of 16 chapters including this one lol. How am I supposed to focus at work with such a huge mass release?!? May the Fool help keep my subordinates from noticing I am slacking while they work.

It's good that Klein's forecast and precautions as a faceless made him have a three layer cover for his new identity.... this means he can build real roots in Backlund, as only a distrustful freak like Leonard can try to peel all those layers, otherwise others are bound to trust him more from his deliberately revealed gaps in his identity as Dwayne

Way back when it was revealed that the Fool sequence only have small aspect of fate and it is becoming a lot more clear to be with profression to faceless to Marionettist. Klein is going from merely palm reading to becoming the ringmaster, deceptions on top of trickery on top of obsfucation, it still one giant circus.

So let's recap what we've learned for a bit. - the evernight goddess is aware of klein. - the erasing lady is an artifact or living angel that works for her. - the eraser lady has a sibling who is probably the first antigonus. - this sibling is an angel of the fool pathway who has the fool tarot. - zaratul is the second sequence 1 of this pathway meaning there is 1 sequence 1 characteristic left if neither zaratul or antigonus have drunk a second potion. - to become a sequence 0 all paths are required to possess all 3 sequence 1 characteristic and the uniqueness of their pathway. I don't know what I'm missing but so far all of this info points me in the direction of the goddess using klein to get the third sequence 1 characteristic left so then her servant[?] / ally antigonus can become a sequence 0. Unless I'm mistaken she is just using him atm until she can dispose of him later.

Klein plans to digest the potion within 6 months. Cattleya might reach Sequence 4 before he does. That is if analyzing a drop of mystical creature blood pressure takes less than 6 months. I don't think Alger will be able to finish his digestion and then ritual in 6 months.

But Goddess 'marking' him from since when he was a Clown is really scary. "Is Goddess watching me right now?" or something.

I'm really really really feeling an ambiguous vibe between Klein and Audrey during the consultation. And I'm not liking it at all. *Sees Audrey Shippers* *Runs*

I love how Klein still has fears and brave enough to admit them. Not many could do so! And reading this chapter with Audrey treatment helped me a bit, I am a bit down as well, frustrated and other IRL related kinds of stuff, thanks a lot author, thanks Miss Justice Audrey

At least he is back to normal and now he has the solution - to chill out more and not hold everything inside

What concerns me most is Zaratul is likely more free to act out his own performances on the world. He will likely be Klein's toughest opponent. He is older, more powerful, and much more experienced at the game of shadows. The one thing in the Klein's favor is that he has likely become a monster that has lost a little bit of control in himself. Making him more likely to be a bit sloppy. That fight will surely come in the future.

This is off topic but do you guys remember that one of the supplementary ingredients for Klein's seq 4 is a "self-made fingernail sized rubber mask"? We've seen rituals have their unique aspects and here it seems he will make one of the supplementary ingredients himself! Real interesting
