Finally, the first vol "The Clown" is end. It much exceeds my expection - not only with the plot but also the characters. All of them are excellent. The novel obsolutely is the masterpiece. The author planned an unbelievable story for the vol, the title Clown, end with the Clown... in a way that nobody guessed..It is a bit warm, sad, what's more, the feeling is ...enjoy, I really enjoy the story, and can not wait to explore the new vol. Thank you author and translator! Thanks for such great story!

This author really know how to hit our soft spot

Damn I was ready to flip a table if he actually just up and left them thinking monetary compensation is all that is needed by a grieving family, when he could've done something at least. They're his own damn family grieving for him for god's sake. Thank god the author writes Klein consistently as a decent guy with conscience. I guess this is goodbye Benson and Melissa. Wish them a happy and successful life and hopefully some occasional visits, preferably mystical and untraceable in nature lol.

At the end of Vol.1 Clown the author summarized the book, i will put a brief translation here. He said that he tried a new writing style and treat the first volume as a mini book, all foreshadows and layout was designed under this concept. Off course there are some longer foreshadows for the whole book as well. There were some parts he was not satisfied with when meeting, event, practice and daily routine starts to cycling, his creativity got lower. Then he tried to jump the timeline to make it better. After old Neil died the whole atmosphere turned darker, the story will be strange if go back to routine style, so he deleted some plots to speed up. The whole book will be 6 to 8 volumes, every vol is a name of the potion, not only from seeker path, it needs to fit for the volume. He hoped everyone will enjoy reading vol. 1 Clown and anticipate the vol.2 Faceless.

Another look? Last look before Klein finally leaves everything behind? I hope this isn't the last time they will meet. Also, I hope that the grief Benson and Melissa experiences will be lessened by the appearance of Klein.. I just hope everything gets better for them. I already got attached to their characters..

Aww...I hate clowns but this one was sweet. It was a touching good-bye. Hopefully that contributed to the digestion of the potion. Making people smile and smiling even though you're sad. Good-by Moretti family and hello to whatever new persona Klein will make in Backlund.
