Man, seeing real connections between The Creator/Lord and Judeo-christian religions. For example, "your Kingdom" is often referenced as the Kingdom of Heaven with gates. The God being omnipotent is also a feature unique in this world to the worship of The Creator. I might hypothesize that the Forsaken Land of the Gods is based on Scandanavia. We can see this through their language, "Jotun", the ice giant of Norse mythos, which may also relate to the sunless nature. In addition, Christianity would eventually take over regions of Norse belief, which may be associated with the transition from worship of Aurmir to worship of The Creator. Looking forward to more world-building.

Am I the only one that thinks the reason they don't get a response is because they don't mention properly who the sacrifice is to? They just say "you" but don't address the God by name. The novel made quite a big deal about getting the name thing right otherwise you might end up somewhere different.

Now, I'm really curious why mc haven't tried to build something from earth in the fog. I mean there is a big chance that he won't make it, but without even trying it is kinda weird to me. I mean if it was me, i will try to build a screen or sth, which will be quite handi during the meeting, and it will also surprise other attendees, and thus make himself more mysterious and respect worthy
