Through world building, family history, back story and constant interaction the author began to give life to his main character. He had his own dreams, goals, and circumstances. The author cloned in fully developed and popular characters right as the main character started to become his own person. The main character wasn't developed enough to interact with them and stay true to himself. He was forcibly changed, his personality warped and distorted. The change was sudden and jarring. I'm so sad I really thought this would become something great, something original. I ended up typing so much, on my cellphone even. I really did get invested in this story. This is why I've been avoiding Originals like the plague.
