Whispers in the Wind (Part 2)

Taka runs with all his might towards his home. He is not sure if everyone is safe under Modor's blade or not, and whether or not bad things will happen to his family. That thought pushes him further and makes his moves quicker during the night. The moon shines bright in the sky of Titans, but it cannot shine bright in Taka's heart. Dashing back to his home, he is now speechless: Everyone had been killed. Blood is continuously spilling from the orphanage. Some kids even had their heads hung in front of the door. The scene in front of his eyes is too much to handle, and that makes him vomit once again.

"Gun...Mori...Harrim...you guys are still alive, right? Please...wake up, your brother is home now." - Taka holds his brothers and sisters' heads tightly to his chest as tears are falling from his face.

"I am too late...I am sorry everyone...What did we do to deserve this? Why did you abandon us, God?" - Taka mumbles.

Out of nowhere, he hears a faint breathing sound from the house. Taka runs quickly towards the sound and finds that his youngest sister is lying on the ground. Her head is completely covered in blood.

"Liz! Liz! Can you hear me?" - Taka quickly grabs and hugs Liz.

"Is..that..you..brother?" - Liz mumbles.

"Yes, I am here now. Do not worry, I will find you a doctor, ok? So just stay still." - Taka smiles and looks at Liz to ease her pain.

"I know...I cannot live....any longer, but I am glad...that you are... still alive, brother. Everyone...was beaten to death...after you were taken away. They are all dead now." - Liz cries while trying to keep her breath together.

"Ok, now is not the time for chitchat little girl. We will find some help, ok?" - Taka tries to move Liz. However, the moment he stands up. Liz is no longer breathing. She loses too much blood from her injuries. Taka tries to wake her up again, but there are no responses from her.

"Liz? Liz?... Liz, please...." - Taka hugs Liz tightly once again.

And so, the night passes silently leaving the horror scene behind. Taka did not say a word ever since he came back home. Now the last thing he can do for his family is to build a nice place for them to rest in the other world. He swears upon himself that he will take revenge for his family, and Modor's head must be cut down by his very own hands.

"Brothers, sisters, and Mother...please rest peacefully as I, Taka, will remember this to the day I die. I will make sure every single one of them pays for what they did to us." - Taka sheds his final tears while looking at all the corpses.

"I am sorry as this is the best house I can do for you guys. Hope that you will enjoy this place I built. I know I am not a great builder, but I will create a better place for you when I got that bastard's head." - Taka acts as if his family is still alive with him. He pays respect to them for a while, gives them one last bow then takes off on his adventure.

Titans is a mountainous area, getting out of that place takes a lot of time if one is not used to the location. Fortunately, Taka has lived here all his life so he knows the road pretty well. It only takes him a week to reach the main road. However, he is now facing one challenge: he needs something to eat/drink. He wanders on the main rocky road of Titans when suddenly he spots a group of merchants passing by. Taka sneaks around and hopes that he can steal at least one or two things to fill his stomach. He does not want to directly meet them as his trust for outsiders is no more.

"Who's there?" - a voice from afar appears as he notices something at the goods.

"Damn, did I get caught already?" - Taka quickly hides away in a bush nearby.

"Boys, get someone to check the goods. If there's someone out there, get rid of them" - the merchant speaks up.

The guards come closer and see that the goods are still in good condition, but some of the food is eaten by Taka. They are now on high alert to find the culprit. From the bush, Taka notices a similar symbol on their arms - a symbol that reminds him of that day: two swords with a giant shield in front of them. A rush of energy come into Taka as his anger is now rising from the sight of that symbol. An immense amount of dark energy covers him that turns him into a completely different person. His arm turns from normal to dark colors with sharp claws on both hands.

"Kill...them..." - A strange voice appears in Taka's mind.

He jumps out and slashes the guards' heads off in the blink of an eye. Instead of eating the food, he is now absorbing the corpse as his main course. The more he absorbs the more powerful he becomes.

"Who...Who are you, bastard? WHERE ARE THE GUARDS? KILL HIM NOW!." - The merchant panics.

"You...you...In the end, you just want us dead. Fine, I'll bring death to you now." - Taka glares at the merchant and guards then charges into them.

The entire road is now filled with screams as Taka massacres every single one. The more he kills, the more excited he becomes. Until no one survives that Taka stops his doing. The dark energy covers him no more, and he returns to his usual state. However, he is now fatigued as that energy consumes a lot of mental power from him.

"Hah...hah...what happened?" - Taka mumbles and faints.

"Let..me...help...you...." - That voice speaks to him again the moment he becomes unconscious.

[1 day later]

"Ugh...where am I?" - Taka opens his eye, and the same scene is still there.

After collecting some thoughts, he decides to take the rest of the goods and moves on. Along the way, he learns about the schedules as well as the destination of that merchant. He wants to have his revenge, but he does not know for sure where Modor is. Therefore, he makes his decision and goes to the place that the merchant originally aims for. He hopes that this place will give him information about the location of Modor. Otherwise, he will keep ongoing.

"Lavaria...Here I come." - Taka looks at the map where it shows the name "Lavaria nation"
