To the very first nation - Lavaria

"Chip....chip....chip"

The sun rises and shines brightly normally. Taka slowly wakes up and realizes that he is in a strange place - A cave with multiple images made by claws of some creatures. He cannot hide his curiosity as well as wants to figure out what happened to the battle yesterday.

"Where am I?" - Taka mumbles.

"Wake up already?" - A voice from afar talks to Taka.

"Wait a minute, who are you? I did not see you around here?" - Taka tries to stand up and moves toward the voice. He slowly moves to the entrance of the cave and there he sees a middle-aged man with shiny white hair standing there waiting for him. He is wearing a white robe, and surrounding him is an unexplainable fog that seems to be a barrier.

"Finally, you come out. I was waiting for you this whole time." - The strange man looks at Taka.

"But I...don't know you?" - Taka speaks up.

"Hahaha! Maybe under this form, you might not recognize me, but we had a great battle yesterday. Am I right?" - The strange man laughs out loudly.

"You...You are the dragon? What do you want from me?" - Taka surprises himself and starts channeling his inner energy.

"Calm down. I am not here to fight anymore because there is no reason for me to do so. I am here to talk to you." - The strange man looks at Taka again.

"What is there to talk about? You almost killed me yesterday, and now you want to talk? Am I supposed to believe that?" - Taka glares back at him and charges in.

The strange man calmly lifts his left hand, and the area surrounding Taka breaks down. Lava jumps out from the ground so fast that he cannot react in time. Taka is now trapped in a lava sphere. He cannot move nor touch the sphere as it is too hot for him to touch or break free from it.

"Look here, young man. If you listen to what I say next then we will spend less time here and move on. We can do other things that are much more productive for the both of us." - The man signs.

"Grr... What do you want?" - Taka finally lets go of his anger and starts listening to him.

"My name is Falkor. I am the lava dragon you saw yesterday. I am the one in charge of guarding the border between Lavaria and Titans. Thanks to you that I woke up from my deep sleep for centuries. You might be confused as to why I did not kill you yesterday, but if you look at the energy around you then you might know the answer to it." - Falkor explains.

The lava sphere disappears, and the ground turns back to normal. After listening to what Falkor said, Taka starts to channel his power again. It is just like what Falkor said: before meeting him, Taka can only sense one power source, and that was coming from the strange voice he heard back in Titans. Now he starts to see fire energy glowing around him.

"What is this?" - Taka questions himself.

"That is the proof that the fire spirit has chosen you, young man. You should be proud of that. Not even people in Lavaria can get recognition from the fire spirit. You are the next one after me to get blessings from the spirits." - Falkor starts showing his excitement after seeing the fire spirit.

"But why does it choose me? When I do not even have any background from Lavaria?" - Taka keeps on asking.

"Why don't you ask that power of yours?" - Falkor gives Taka a hint.

"My power? But how?" - Taka thinks silently for a while.

"Anyway, now that the fire spirit has chosen you that I also have the responsibility to train you until you are comfortable with your new power. Don't you have revenge to make?" - Falkor pressures Taka.

"HOW DID YOU KNOW THAT?" - Taka looks at him again, but he now realizes that his power at the moment is not at the level where he can get revenge for his family. He cannot help but feel disgusted about himself. Therefore, he hastily agrees to train with Falkor with the hope that his power will improve in a short period.

"The name is Taka. Please to meet you, Mr. Falkor." - Taka now speaks politely to Falkor as he accepts him as his first teacher.

".... Falkor is fine. You will know everything about your power as you move on with your power in this land..." - Falkor pats Taka's shoulder and shows a smile as if he is looking at someone he knows for a very long time.

From that point, both Taka and Falkor spend all their time training in the mountain. During this time, Taka learns more about the secrets of Falkor's place. It turns out that the events where the lava appears should be the only event normal people can get to see. The moment the Guardian wakes up indicates that a chosen one has appeared, and depending on that person the Guardian decides to keep that person alive or not. Falkor mentions that not all the chosen are good people, so that is why he had to make the call quickly before the chosen becomes too strong to handle.

[...]

And so, several months have passed. Taka is now much more used to his power compared to what he was in the past. In summary, he realizes his two powers: Dark and Fire powers. His Dark power allows him to cover the area around Taka in complete darkness, but there is a set amount of time that he can maintain it. Within that time, his power increases his speed and attack. His Fire power gives him a nature to resist fire damage from external forces. If the attack is weaker than his own fire energy then Taka might be able to absorb and turn it into parts of his power also.

"You should be ready to start your adventure, Taka. Remember the lessons we spent all this time: No matter what or where you are, you must not lose yourself!" - Falkor gives Taka one last piece of advice before letting him go.

"Thank you Falkor. Thank you for teaching me all this time. I was aggressive towards you at the beginning, but now I am grateful. After my family passed away, you are the only one that supports me all the way..." - Taka sadly smile while tearing up and remembering his family.

"Do not worry, even if the world is against you. There will always be Falkor who will back you up till the end. However, this is just the start as your power still has more to grow. Head to Lavaria and join the Fire Academy there." - Falkor calms Taka down.

"The Academy?" - Taka confused.

"Yes, they are the biggest organization in Lavaria that teaches students about fire energy. The pride of Lavaria lies in the Academy, and vice versa. However, they will not teach dark power so you should not let people know that you can wield dark power as well. After all, students in Lavaria do not like dark power from Titans a lot for some reasons. Here, take this as an approval letter. They will let you into the Academy once you show them this letter." - Falkor smirks while giving Taka a letter with a shiny dragon symbol on it.

Taka takes the letters, and bows to Falkor one last time. He now walks down to the road where he first met Falkor. He looks at Falkor one more time and continues on his adventure. Taka is now confident in himself more, and his eye aims towards not only Lavaria but also Modor's head. One day, he will be able to meet Modor again and that will be the time he will fulfill his promises.

From afar, Falkor looks at Taka with multiple thoughts in his mind.

"May the Spirits be with you....my Lord...." - Falkor deeply thinks and slowly turns back into the dragon form then disappears into the mountain.

[....]

"T...a..k...a...." - A strange voice starts talking faintly once again.
