ANNOUNCEMENT: GOD PILOT CONTEST! The Mech Touch has reached 6000 chapters! It’s time for another contest! Contest Rules Design an original god pilot hailing from red humanity that has broken through during the Age of Dawn. This god pilot will initially operate in the Red Ocean. DO NOT USE THE MILKY WAY. Be original and creative. Do not obsess over power level as god pilots are already strong by nature. Try to be original and unconventional when designing a god pilot. It can belong to any first-class force, even ones that have not been mentioned in the story as long as your description is reasonable. Remember that your contest submission is only the starting point. If it has won the contest, I will interpret and adapt your entry to the story, so I may change or add a lot of details. The god pilot entry will be evaluated according to the following criteria: Fit, Originality, Flavor and Excess. Submission Format You must describe the god pilot’s title, name, allegiance (state or organization), god mech name and the focus (mech type) of the god mech. In addition, you must quantify the domain of the god pilot allocating 10 points in 1 or more E energy attributes. You must also summarize the god pilot’s overarching conviction and provide a backstory that describes the god pilot in greater detail. The format that you should use will be as follows: Title: Name: Allegiance: God Mech: God Mech Focus: Domain 1: ?/10 Domain 2 (Optional): ?/10 Domain 3 (Optional): ?/10 Conviction: Backstory: You may define 1 to 3 domains of the god pilot. To determine their strengths, allocate 10 points (no more, no less) to every domain. Here is an example entry: Title: The Lifesaver Name: Divine Samuel Kennedy Allegiance: Red Association, Longevity Faction God Mech: The Immortal Treant God Mech Focus: Support mech, Enhancing allied forces Domain 1: Lifespan 7/10 Domain 2: Time 3/10 Domain 3: 0/10 Conviction: To allow humans to live forever. Backstory: The Lifesaver is a mecher hailing from the Longevity Faction of the MTA and now RA. He is a rare support-oriented god pilot who is obsessed with evolving humans to a long-lived species, as he is convinced that only immortality will give the human race the capital to conquer the cosmos. The Lifesaver pilots the Immortal Treant, a support-oriented god mech that is able to support friendly mechs and starships within the range of its God Kingdom by increasing their defenses and granting them self-restoration capabilities. He can also manipulate time, most notably slow down aging or prevent heavily damaged subjects from dying. The Lifesaver is particularly notable for its ability to provide a large amount of support to other friendly god mechs. You can submit 1 unique god pilot at the #events-submission channel on The Mech Touch's Unofficial Discord server. SELECTION On June 9 21:00 CET I will discuss this contest and choose the winner live on TMT's Unofficial Discord Server. I will select 1 winning submission through selection and determining 1 submission through a random lottery.
