Comments of chapter undefined of The Mech Touch

This chapter angers me, a small part is the context of the chapter, but the larger portion is why do we have to do this now? I just want to read about Ves doing his design thing and then see the results at the presentation of the new mech. But now an already busy story just has more side stories stuffed into it, and causing the main story to just barely creep along. This is certainly one of the negatives of the book, an event could be only a week away but it will take fifty chapters to get there.

Hmm doesn’t seem like the thoughts of the crown as I dont think it would further it’s goal unless used to look for a new host. Might be a way for the pilot as well to break through. I forget his name but the artillery pilot that yvlainne keeps talking to.
