Thanks for the chapters! I really enjoyed meeting the crew as well as the reactions of the triumvirate’s acolytes. I can’t wait to see how it all shakes out especially when there is sucha large personal stake with his uncle, dad, and grandpa being potentially affected by the body merger process. I look forward to see how Ves’ fame and infamy grow as he tries to stay true to his own legacy.

The Carmine system also has a lot of potential in its hybrid usage: for people with C-E aptitude the Carmine system can mean the difference between being able to pilot a first/second class mech or not.

doesn't Kingdom of mechs prohibit non humans to derive benefits from anything related to mechs? why are these masters worried aliens might be able to use them?

This is like inventing a new super performance drug for athletes. I laughed hard when I imagined the rest of the association running to meet with Ves after learning the details of the secret closed session of the carmine system.

Aliens piloting mechs are not that great a problem. Here's why.1. They have no access to the kingdom of mechs - This precludes aliens from cultivation through this means and help to their designers in designing a mech.2. They would have to build their understanding of mechs from the ground up, on both the mech designer and mech pilot side.3. There are no training facilities for the training of pilots and designers.4. The war would likely be long over by the time aliens could develop comparably in the above ways. After all, humans are way more advanced in understanding cultivation. It would probably take hundreds of years just for the aliens to set up their own kingdom of mechs. Not to mention all the time they'd need to realize their own set of design philophies to attach to their own kingdom...

Spiritual potential/str is the new genetic aptitude... companion spirits = solution and multiplier.
