The plan makes sense, but Is a high bet. Because is probable that many on the vanguard are going to die because if they dont raid a rich system they would end alone in the jaws of the enemy

Thanks for the chapters! It will be interesting to see what kind of counter proposal Polymath has to offer as the opening act of the conference comes to a close. I look forward to finding out where Ves comes into this stratagem.

One thing though: these two plans are not mutually exclusive. While I understand the need for focusing the efforts on one plan in politics, but you could do both... the difference would be that you don't deep strike your newfound alien allies 😁

both plans are overly optimistic in the same way that they are underestimating the aliens, the (suspected) cosmopolitans plan is assuming the aliens will actually honor any kind of agreement with humanity, while the Fisters plan make assumptions that aliens would be disturbed enough to turn back

reminds me of the anima orders elections, with that one as a reference I'll bet like Minerva the Polymath will be making a plan that is equally crazy and absurd

the xenotechnicians plan is the safe/passive one while the fist of defiance is the most risky/aggressive one. will the plan that the polymath bring forth be a middle ground?
