We can all imagine how Ves will splurge. I can already see a First Class Superfab entering the Spirit of Bentheim. I also imagine that the Clan may erase all of their debts and still be massively rich enough to get a decent fleet with enough carriers. I wonder if the System will wake up and offer something interesting to Ves.

Did I miss the part where the Voiken's siblings talked about the deal their "Patriarch" wanted to do with Ves? Or was it subtly pushed back till he had an accord with the transhumanist so the preserve order man could go all ape on that?

No way. Ves was gone for two weeks, and went from the frontlines of a battlefield straight into negotiations with a psychopath wielding absolute authority. After all that Gloriana had audacity to tell Ves that he didnt do well enough, she demanded that he give her his rewards, she basically called him stupid, and then taught his daughter to call you a dumdum... No "I'm glad you're safe." "I love you." or "I missed you." Just "You're not good enough. Give me your stuff. You're stupid." He should send her to live with the Glory Seekers.
