Ves really does have ABSOLUTE advantage in multiple areas where he can substitute pricy tech components with spiritual engineering. Expecially any tech based around detectors, communication or stealth! Remember that "anti-voribug" idea? Pretty sure that can be an excellent seller in the 3rd class market! Ditto any mech he makes with "life sensors" to find aliens. (Like that Doom Crawler idea?) Perhaps the "Doom Crawler" should come with an IFF recorder that turns on when detecting humans - one that you can show the MTA to prove you've only been using this mech on aliens.

Still think the best market for his "teaching mech" is 3rd class Rim level. LMC already has full market penitration and rampant speculation about potential "expert making" tech. Expecially because the training mech market requires a proven track record! Ves has that record in Yelina Star Cluster - he doesn't have it yet in the Red Dwarf. Once those training mechs prove out in a few years/decades... LMC will have a market share in ALL of human space! Probably have quite a discount from Rim Guardians too.
