hmm well I'll say this. Based on the world that they are in Joshua is very naive. Why can't humans just trade? why did the vesians attack the bright republic? resources. resources aren't infinite. no matter how how big or small a galaxy. its is very much possible to exhaust the resources of a galaxy. especially when humans grow to a certain size. how much more other races. once they exhaust thier galaxy won't they turn to the milky way. this is the natural order. survival of the fittest. evolve or die. what ever you want to call it life in that world is built on the life of many others. the planet he was born on probably once belonged to another race that is now extinct. to naive. grow up.

He needs to realize that death and the struggle for survival is an intrinsic part of life and is often what gives it value. Morals aside killing doesn’t conflict with his life domain.

Keits is exactly the woman that Joshua needs to set him right. Telling him what he needs to hear to be stronger rather than what he wants. Also I'm sure he's gonna Naruto the situation and states he wants to be a God Pilot to control how human treats aliens from now on.

We know the aliens "depend on exotics" to live and reproduce. What if that is literal? What if ALL "exotics" are the dead bodies of aliens. Either low order - like irl crude oil. Or stuff that is extracted alien body parts. Like the stuff named "bone" or "eye". And what if "resonant exotics" are exclusively from aliens that were spiritually strong when alive? Ves may have the only dp capable of using LIVING aliens as the source of exotics or mech power.

Joshua needs to define priorities, and chosen goals. Everchanger Is the battle partner, but Ketis could be the one you can make a life together. Whatever It happens this is part of the process need to mature.

Random idea that has been bugging me about those Vulcan totems. It's stated multiple times that Ves had to use "mech design abilities" to make things with a glow. AND the two versions had "identical glows". But in no other instance has Ves created identical glows without it actually being identical. Are the two totems actualy... only *one* totem that is a transforming toy?
