y'know... the Vikings were successful for a reason... axes for an assault role is basically one of the easiest decisions one could make. decent reach, combined with the highest power strikes of all the basic weapon types for tearing through armor, and possesses a surprisingly high level of technical complexity regarding hook and pull techniques to trip or disarm, choking up on the axe head for punching things that have closed in to grappling range... the biggest question is whether to go for a light tomahawk style for maneuverability and speed, or go raw power with a halberd or great axe...

Axes are great! So many good examples... And of course, the age old question: does it come when called?

🤔I'm a bit confused is the lead designer also considered like a stand-alone project, because it would not be wise not to use every journeyman, doing atleast a look over on every design to get fresh eye on it, this could stop from miss hole or different out look that is not to focus.🤔
