Jenniz wants to take active political control. She forgets that the pillars of the clan was build by Ves and they owe their loyalty not to the clan but to him.
There is a critical difference that prevents it from being a full on monarchy baked into the original founding rules. The clan has the right to remove their patriarch with a 3/4 vote no king of ancient Europe whatever except such a rule. However, other than that the clan seems to accept a fair amount of feudalistic traditions in the acceptance of a patriarch.
Already and she's activating this core ability off the fly, she needs to be tamed. I think she seriously needs to take s lesson or two from Quilanxo who she so much embodies and admires. Quilanxo didn't hand hold her kids as they were born, she left them to fend for themselves cos the world is a dog eat dog world. I wonder how Jannzi thinks humanity rose to power, by bending their heads and accepting their fate. oh well, it's all up to the author. don't mind my ramblings.
if it was up to me, i would have killed janzzi after reading this chapter but ves can't đ but keeping her under obersvation a priority for calabast i would like to see that...i know classic back stab and ungrateful disciples are lovely twist but i dont want to see that in this story. i love the characters too much
