By the way how many Masterworks has Ves created? I seem to remember 3 Masterworks. But here's the thing. 2 of those Masterworks were with Gloriana. The very first masterwork is the mech being used by his father but that mech is supposed to be a secret. Master Willix said Ves has created SEVERAL Masterworks! The definition of Several is more than TWO but not many. Master Willix is always precise in what does or says. So does the MTA know about Ves's extracurricular activities? Or am I reading too much into a simple sentence?
IMO the real obstacle to the MTA's dream coming true is humanity's deficiency in Psionic Power. That why Star and some Master designers are said to be able to produce Masterworks on demand, while Journeymen and Seniors have to pray they get lucky. Still waiting for Willix to notice the elephant in the womb.....

I like how Exlor nailed the death if all technologies stopped working in space. Cold would get anyone in the end. There is something to the argument that with less physical work humans lose strength. However, we have better knowledge and better techniques to increase our strength. The motivation to train, to have better food, better medicine, etc. should not be lost. I am more and more convince that Ves motto for the LMC of "a partner for life" align with the MTA desire for human to grow their strength alongside technological evolution.
