Exlor
Well, I thought Purnesse will be smarter than this and would not push for this shady reformation until later. Hopefully, Ves would not fall for such a bad deal. I thought Ves was done with the traditional states ,when he went ahead and set up his clan in a sort of hybrid corporate/clan structure rather than a traditional state. That was the charm of both the story and the Larkinson Clan, exploring alternative approach to the governance. It would be quite disappointing to see the Clan into a traditional state. As I have outlined in one of the in-chapter comments, it would have been a better idea to explore the direction of improving the current hybrid structure rather than a traditional state model. As mentioned by the Ves himself, such an approach will turn him into a figurehead with deceivingly good veto power, but we have seen it aplenty how such positions degenerate to a truly useless symbolic ones, where even the state's own citizens and foreign dignitaries don't remember those people/don't attach much importance to them.
Pretty sure that novalon is going to get shoehorned into this position. This is sort of what happened to Gloria. Exlor has a position that needs to be filled so that Ves can focus on other things. But I am kinda disappointed in Ves as he seems to have forgoten Dr Lupo. Ves should have a exploding crown as the symbol of office as a contingency with it being triggered by a spiritual trigger like a guided ascension crown where it helps the user decide the best path forward for the clan like Ves's tree of prosperity.
this smell way too much like a scheme to me and mc is aware of that but knowingly ignoring it. To me this chapter is quite redundant council serve this purpose already what ves needs to do expand it add both militry and administration representative in council and choose a office over council head. calabast is also a viable option, clan will no accept any purneasser period I am telling u.
Turning the clan from a corporation to a state like governance would lessen Ves’s right to speak. Because he created the clan, led the clan through difficulties, funded the clan, has high level contacts like the MTA and the Holy Son, and clearly really talented. So much that even if Ves wasn’t the Clan Patriach he might as well be because his contributions are too high. But if its a state like governance the most suitable leader should be in charge, not the most productive one.
