As a reader I can say I appreciated Exlor work on this novel. Even the less popular ark entertained me. I know all good things end at some point, I just can't imagine Ves would be at the end of the road.

...I really don't see how a cat's paw is going to be any good against a pirate gang. Expecially if they have to play by the rules of CFA & MTA. Seems our navigator/author will need to cook some things up. Best of luck. Dragos of Snow and Limb

Hang on... is the gap a testing ground for the Friday coalition? When Ves found the remnants of the gamma laser in the Bright Republic which is under the protection of the coalition. And the fact that its securing war material. The coalition can launch the battleship from the gap given its proximity to the hegemony and be a trump card for the coalition to play.

I hope that ves giving all this information to MTA actually causes them to do something. Ves isn't even that deep into the Gap and these pirates are blatantly,and simultaneously, breaking every rule set down by the MTA and CFA. A good ol fashioned pirate hunt would be perfect and show that the big two take punishing people did breaking these rules very seriously.

Now THAT is what the 2nd->3rd rank disparity ought to look like!
