THE MECH TOUCH IS STILL AN ONGOING STORY! TODAY, I PRESSED THE WRONG BUTTON IN WEBNOVEL'S INTERFACE WHICH MISTAKINGLY LABELED THE BOOK AS COMPLETED. THIS IS FALSE. THE MECH TOUCH IS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO ENDING. CURRENTLY, I AM AIMING TO COMPLETE THIS WEBNOVEL AT 5,000 CHAPTERS OR 10,000 CHAPTERS OR EVEN ∞ CHAPTERS DEPENDING ON ITS POPULARITY, PROFITABILITY AND OTHER FACTORS (disclaimer: this may be subject to change). THIS BOOK WILL NOT ANYTIME SOON!
["Since this mech is a private design, at least at first, the LMC needs to license all of its components out of its own pocket." Ves immediately frowned. "What is the typical licensing fee of a second-class component license?" "It varies, but the good ones that suit our Cat's Paw design the most will all cost at least a billion hex credits."]… When Ves collaborated with Professor Corus Ventag, he was able to utilize NORA Consolidated’s licences. Which begs me to ask the question, “Are there Mech Designer Co-Ops?”, in which Mech Designers form a cooperative to share the cost of licensing. Wodin’s, DIVA’s and LMC share common objectives, it would benefit each other to share common licenses and reserve proprietary licenses in markets where they a competitive. With quantum entanglement node system of communication, forming and joining a co-op spanning star fields ensures no competition between individual companies. The Rim Guardians could be a example or a governing organization over many such co-ops. It was stated previously that the Bright Republic would purchase many next gen licenses and act as a local governing body, thereby indicating the MTA should not oppose this practice. I expect there is a buy-in fee, but once established the discounts should pay for themselves.
Remember when Ves said he was going to build a mech for Melkor. I wonder when that is going to happen. I also look forward to seeing Ves start developing some of his own tech licenses. He doesn't need to build a mech entirely from the ground up using his own tech, for now. But it would be interesting to see the affects of a piece of tech that was created and then put into a mech by the same person, in terms of the overall glow of a mech I mean. Along those same lines, the LMC needs to have its own tech research department. It should have one by now but if it does exist its not doing a good job.
