Cassandra Breyer choice of attack method was obviously effective except as Ves indicated for a couple of details. The attack appears to be a control theme... cuffs, collar, leash, more so than body snatching, or harming Ves. If she is indeed as powerful as Ves estimates, he should be lucky she chose illusions as her opening gambit. Ves might also want to visit Dr. Ranya and find out if she has any psychiatric experience because Ves has a lot of unusual fetish’s that could benefit from some couch time.

And thus begins Ves’s denial of his new subconscious fetish.

Did he ever take his mask off after his talk with Brutus?? Maybe this all happened cuz he fell asleep with it still on.
