Comments of chapter undefined of The Mech Touch

I'm really not a fan of this ghost business. Before, the traces of mystical/fantasy elements in the story were great, but this is really starting to strain my suspension of disbelief. I like this story because of its efforts to remain realistic (engineering tradeoffs, business development, political/business challenges). The addition of this ghost mother stuff feels very ham-fisted.

I feel like Ves took that betrayal too lightly. Why didn’t he consult the system about it? If that ghost is not actually his mother, but just an elemental mimicking her from his memories. What is stopping a different one or a future enemy from doing the same but getting Lucky to kill Ves. Ves needs to either find a fix Lucky’s loyalty programming to only recognize him or get more reliable defense system.

This arc is really killing the story. If this continues in a more and more fantasy way I'm dropping this novel. Right now the mech touch is more of explore alien worlds with increasing fantastical occurrences and oh yeah sometimes mechs.

First time I'm having some real dissonance with the story... Not happy about the way this whole mother thing has panned out. Not happy with Ves reactions either... He is definitely not stupid so far so this behaviour doesn't add up... First time the story feels like it's lost its way a little bit

I fuking hate his 'mother' and whatever ****ty arc this is. Every single event is a cesspool of floating chromosomes full of stupidity, and its really getting in my nerves. And this is the fuking final version as well!

Hmmm; wasn't lucky terrified of this 'ghost mother' a few chapters ago? Why the 180??? Did he not even think to check the system to see if his mission is now complete? He got lucky from the system, so perhaps this ghost is from the system.

The Hulk ghost mom things to sudden and the fact of the systems not doing anything about it just seems stupid.

I suspect Ves is developing a strong sense of betrayal here that will be acting up when he gets home.

I first thought that the system took on the appearance of its mother, energy fluctuation of the planet plus emotion of Ves, gives the system an appearance to make contact with him without being seen as hostile. but if the mission did not end when she took the piece of bone then she has no connection with the system and there is no reason for her to consider it at a supreme level of fidelity to Ves

I don’t y understand why he just dismiss that ghost, it’s like “Oh well, what can I do, my cat betrays me too but he’s so cute. I’ll forgive him now, don’t you dare do it again.” Plus all of this ghost business is so stupid. She can go in the safe as she is only an energy, take the thing which is literally material, and go away like a ninja. Are going in xianxia territory now?

That was a bad turn. It came out of nowhere, and the sudden denial of his quest item feels like it was done soley for the drama of it, and maybe to troll the audience. I don't understand how that could happen, how this ghost thing just knows where he is, how to get to him, even though this ship has sensors, security, and they know energy beings are about... I'm really disappointed.

It feels like the author made Lucky dramatically stupider in the past few chapters just to make this filler crap.

So many loose end at the moment...

Imagine a moment where you're so stupidly immature that you go off by yourself to die because it it seems impossible to bear the idea that he'll be without his cheat system that he is barely fucking using. You know what might have been the perfect time to use one of the system's cheats? Right when the ghost appeared. He literally has a magic stealth field from it that according to the system is 100% infallible, and the system has never been wrong. Did he even try to use it against the ghost? Nope.

The story is getting annoying. Why in the world did author have a need to go down this bull**** route. Meh, I am heavily disappointed :(.

Am I the only one that would put the system chip on lucky's collar and leave them both here on the planet?

Perhaps he might find the solution to his body during this outing? Considering the so-called ghosts could absorb his energy, there might be an exotic capable of draining his excess energy.

This is stupid filler garbage, this whole arc is ****ty
