Exlor
Seems like our MC can't accomplish his dream without becoming a kind of Overlord himself? I wonder if he'll ever have to lean on his family's name. I'm all for growth, but these political shenanigans aren't contributing much to Ves mecha designer progress except for adding loads of stuff to think about too!
It's cool to see a realistic amount of complexity in a novel. I'm not fond of narrow-focus minmax destroy-the-heavens novels (at least not for their own sake. I'll happily read a GOOD NOVEL that happens to be narrowly focused, with a minmax dominant MC, who is out to destroy the heavens). At the other extreme, while I like "reality, just with plot"... it doesn't always end up being interesting. Fortunately, this novel has so far manage to balance on that tightrope, so I'll keep chucking my stones as fast as Webnovel poo** them into my account (I didn't get a Lucky Stone Cat, so I'm always stone-poor ;)
