Sora, thank you for having a piece of your soul as our companion every night. I could say that this is one of the best historical fiction stories that i've read. I've grown to love the characters that you've given life to. They're so lucky to be your brain children! It is such a bittersweet goodbye to Soujin and Hua but I guess, i'll be rereading this again and again. I'll be looking forward to the more that is yet to come. Your works are the scent of the after-rain. 😍 PS. You also have grown as a writer. Keep it up. I just have one question though, does this novel have a spin-off story? Shou's by any chance? We would be delighted to be with him then.

Just had to bring up chapter 7... the first bet... you just had to hit us with nostalgia and recall all of the adventured we had with these people... *sniffs* I'm fine. I'm fine. *BREATHES* I'll live. WELL, this has been an emotional ride. I love many things about this ending. Number one, the shameless old men being closed to each other. That was such a good idea. I support it 3000%. Second, Nanglong Shou. Remembering the things Hua and Soujin experienced at such young ages aches my heart. I'm very happy that they received such a blessing in their lives. Lastly, Hua in a red dress... *recalls random chinese art she sent minutes ago of a man and woman outside and the woman wore red dress* I LOVE THIS BIT AND THE WRITING OF IT. It's own way of saying "and they lived happily ever after" I AM REALLY AND TRULY HAPPY FOR THESE PEOPLE AND THE THINGS THEY ACCOMPLISHED AND I WISH THEM MORE HAPPINESS. (I legit have tears in my eyes. No whale noises yet)

As for you, Sora. I've sent long emails about how much I admire you and it only rose up when I joined your discord server. You have been such an inspiration to us all. We can only hope that we'd also be able to create stories that will touch many people like you did. ❤️

I cant imagine my days after this without the 8pm chapter. Im already used to opening webnovel on 8pm to read this book (when I am not soo busy with classes and assignments). Sometimes when I have a hard day, this 8pm chapter is always there to cheers me up again (with Yan, the grandfathers, ming hui banters) 😭 Im happy this book already meets the end but Im sad that no more Hua and Soujin!

Story came to a wonderful closure. The main couple are together for a lifetime, the shameless gramps are best friends and neighbours, Yan got a girl and its mutual he likes her inner beauty - though it would be nice to see a wedding and proposal for them; those who are loyal stay and benefit with their masters. Then you have how revenge was done in such a beautiful manner. There are more words to describe this novel which I am sure others would like to say. However I just want to use 3 words - THANK YOU SORAHANA!!!

I loved the way Jun Hua' played Jun min. I like to come across a story with the invincible great female general Jun Hua' . I enjoyed the marvaleous pair of Generals like Soujin and Jun Hua.
