Well, I can say that a chinese novel with 1000+ chapters is total to a filipino novel that has 3 books/book 3. I guess chinese novels are just the same length with filip novels because chinese novels doesn't have Book 2 or Book 3 (I think so?) And a single chapter in chinese novels are short (In filip books, 1chapter includes 3-4 pages, It depends). This info is based on my observation. Correct me if I'm wrong.
