Wait, but since a servant is supposed to abide by the will of their master, since the soul oath demands the servant serves the master to the best of snail's capability, doesn't that mean Kenja actually has the capability to override Snail's willful loophole by adamantly ordering him to accomplish something? After all, If a Master told his servant to 'open the door' except that very same servant opened the WRONG door due to his personal belief that he was 'following his Master's orders', then the servant would still be in serious trouble for wrongfully assuming and following their own will instead of their master's. Since snail is a literal Servant now, even though he didn't believe himself to be a servant and instead 'serving', Kenja's will should definitely still take priority, shouldn't it? Maybe things will change in the future and I'm merely jumping the gun... but I was just a tad confused with Kenja's helplessness at snail's bullying haha. He clearly has ways to take advantage of the soul oath, just needs a little bit of brainstorming! x]

Ah so it'll be a seesaw thing in regards to taking advantage of their agreement with the snail having more knowledge and Kenja being cleverer...hahaha. Snail sort of reminds me of the grandpa from Ranma 1/2 but is clearly a better sensei for Kenja! X]

amro4games:The Soul Oath was something Snail took himself, but if the terms of an oath can be viewed ambiguously/lazily while being interpreted in many different ways, the oath becomes largely ineffective in cowing the oathmaker. Snail twists the definition of servant/“being a servant” to loosely fit his whims at the time. It’s like how one could serve a master vs a citizen serving their country. A citizen could believe he is serving his country well by commiting treason and attempting to overthrow the current regime. A teacher could argue that he serves his student by guiding and instructing him on how to behave. A parent could argue he is best serving his children by raising them in the way he deems best. In this way, Snail could make the case that the best way to serve Kenja is to have him take action in the way Snail deems best for Kenja’s sake which is totally ‘not’ what Kenja had in mind when they made that wager. As you can see (and what Kenja learns over time), the oath Snail made ends up barely constraining the gastropod’s antics to the extent that Kenja is still not sure if Snail is biding his time for something to happen to Kenja that will free him from the oath.

I feel bad for Sixth Elder though, not only he lost a part of his wealth but also a potential disciple 😂
