You Haven’t Changed

They had to rehearse but Min-Ju wasn't a bridesmaid even if she was BiYu best friend. She came early to see some old friends but all her friends were here so she thought it was a good time to catch up with her college mates.

The groom Yang GuoWei greeted Min-Ju with a hug

"Wow, You still look like a goddess." Said GuoWei

"And you still look like a hog. You haven't changed a bit" Min-Ju replied half-jokingly

Min-Ju greeted the other groomsmen and bridesmaids. She found herself looking around for JinHai

She found him talking and laughing with LiQiu. LiQiu looked like she could be a model; beautiful and stunning

When she saw that she turned away from the painful sight and looked at her son. Who was too into the aesthetic of the venue than anything else

When she looked away JinHai looked at Yong-Sun and wondered why he looks so familiar?

Min-Ju caught up with most of her old friends and was about to leave to go back to her newly bought house. She walked up to BiYu to say goodbye for now

"Wait why do you have to leave so soon" barked BiYu

"I have to unpack the new furniture I bought"

"Stay we are all going out to a fancy restaurant after the rehearsal."

Hearing that Min-Ju wanted to leave quicker than before. No way in hell would she be sitting anywhere near JinHai. How could she face him after all these years? After all the hurt he caused her she couldn't dare to face him. Fearing or knowing she would kill him if she faced him again

Finally, Min-Ju said

"I'll be there for the wedding and anyways I'm gonna to be busy."

With that, she gave BiYu a hug and left before BiYu can drag her to the restaurant

Her son sensing something was wrong asked her

"Umma* what's wrong? Why did we leave so early?"

Min-Ju didn't respond

Her mind still filled with old painful memories
