Let Us Have Dinner Soon

Min-Ju saw someone at the hospital cafeteria, someone, she never thought she would see

"Oh, LiQiu why are you here?" She was shocked that she was here, Min-Ju got up to greet her but Min-Ju got up too quickly and was still very weak so out of instant Jae-Hyuk grabbed her. For a second they staring at each other until both of them realized that there were people watching them

"Agassi* you should take it easy for a while'' He said with his face blushing, helping her sit back down. LiQiu walked up to her table sitting down on the seat diagonally from her

"Oh Min-Ju why... why are you here?" She said, shocked seeing her in a hospital gown with two men in black suits. "I got too tired," Min-Ju said, trying not to reveal any more unnecessary information. "JinHai said that he was visiting an old friend who was in the hospital I didn't think it was you" Min-Ju smiled at JinHai's discretion to LiQiu

"What brings you here to a hospital? You don't work here do you?" She asked still wondering why she is here

"I have an interview with the head of the hospital, the camera crew and the producers are upstairs setting up so I thought I would go downstairs for a snack" She said and Min-Ju smiled and chuckled at her. Then LiQiu got up to answer the phone

She turned around and told Min-Ju "I have to go but let's meet up for dinner once you get better"

"I would like that," Min-Ju responded, pinching Jae-Hyuk's jacket asking him to help her up. He helped her up and she shook hands with LiQiu and bowed to her. She then gave LiQiu her phone number

"Thank You" Min-Ju said and she waited until LiQiu was out of her sight before falling back down onto her chair

"I think I pushed myself a little too far today. I feel so tired" She said under her breath trying to stay awake but she ultimately had to close her eyes and all she could hear was Jae-Hyuk calling her name but she didn't wake up. Min-Ju tried waking up to tell him she was okay but her body wouldn't allow her

She was in a dark room away but something was blinding her. It was a bright light with mysterious voices as she started walking to it the closer to the light the sounds come louder but the light was getting farther

But before she could make out the sounds that were attracting her she woke up to Jae-Hyuk pacing around the room

"Jae-Hyuk? What happened" She said managing to get a few words out

"Agassi you're awake?" He said running next to her

"Of course, your heels clicking on the floor would wake anyone up" She joked sitting up from the bed

"Agassi how can you still joke during a time like this" He said with a little bit of annoyance and anger

Min-Ju sighed before answering him "Why can't I joke?" She said pausing before speaking again. Reading his face but she could never read him. He always had a poker face always showing no emotion. "If I don't joke then I wouldn't have lasted as long as I did" She answered with a blank face looking at him and observing his face. He was handsome with slick black hair but his eyes looked dead. Dead of emotions but he's different with her. His eyes had emotions for once but they returned back to the dead after a while

"You know him more than I do I presume? You have been with him since you were five..." Min-Ju pauses again before speaking again "I should have taken your advice and left when I had the chance." She said coldly and blankly to him

"I think I told this before Agassi that anything you say I have to report to the president. I advise you to be careful with your words" He warned her

"Why? Because you know what he will do to me if you tell him the things I have told you" She said, choking on her words "I think I should get some more rest. Can you leave me alone please" She asked politely unwilling to let Jae-Hyuk see her cry

Jae-Hyuk nodded and left the room. Min-Ju refused to cry, sitting on her bed silent and staring at the window immersed in her own thoughts

But as soon the door closed and the door opened again. But this time it wasn't Jae-Hyuk it was JinHai and LiQiu

"Min-Ju?" JinHai said, wondering if she was aware that they entered the room. "Huh?" Min-Ju said snapping out of her daze and was shocked that LiQiu had come back. "I heard that you fainted at the cafeteria so JinHai and I came over to see how you are doing" She answered with a nice big slime "I'm okay, I just got out of bed too soon" She said smiling back at her and JinHai avoiding eye contact

"Did Jae-Hyuk let you in?" She asked because she knew that he always asked her permission before letting anyone in the same room as her. "Uhhh, Yeah he said that you needed company." JinHai said with a suspicious tone "I bought you a late lunch." JinHai said suddenly "You did?'' Min-Ju said Shocked

JinHai took out Min-Ju's favorite Congee with preserved Eggs. Pouring the food into a silver bowl and handing it to her

"I'm going to wash up" LiQiu said entering the bathroom

Suddenly Min-Ju punches JinHai "Owww" He said in a childish tone while rubbing the spot where she punched him

"Give me back my phone!" She demanded "Why did you take my phone" playfully punching him again

"I forgot I had it" reaching into his suit and pulling out Min-Ju's phone. "I couldn't figure out what your password was" he said shyly

"It's Yong-Sun's birthday. Why did you need my password?" she said as she unlocks her phone and checks her email. "I needed to call your husband?"

"Oh, right I forgot" She said, rubbing her head "Did he not say anything to you?" Min-Ju thought about what JinHai said but she doesn't remember Su-Hyung saying anything about this. Knowing him he would have asked her right away. Why didn't he ask her?

"I'm Sorry..." Min-Ju said while avoiding eye contact with him. She kept her head down and was playing with her fingers. "What are you sorry for?" He asked, lowering his head and looking down at the wooden floor. "We were expecting too much from each other. It wasn't real... what we...I wanted" still looking down at the floor there was a silence for a while until LiQiu came out of the bathroom

"I have to go back to work. It's my break. JinHai can stay to keep you company"

"No, I think Min-Ju is fine by herself" He said, coldly and calmly. Shocky both Min-Ju and LiQiu

"Are you sure?"

"I'm fine by myself" Min-Ju said trying not to be flustered

"Okay let's go"

"Wait. You go first I have something to say to Min-Ju" he said suddenly, LiQiu nodded her head and left the room. JinHai went to the door to check if LiQiu was near but she was walking towards the elevator

He walks towards Min-Ju. He walks next to her bed avoiding eye contact. After a moment of silence, he couldn't stop looking at the floor.

He sighs before speaking "I think we should stop" confusing Min-Ju

"We are hurting..." He stops and sighs again "I can't do this Min-Ju" his voice cracks "We shouldn't see each other anymore... I just can't..."

Min-Ju still remains speechless... looking down at the blanket
