A Great Scolding
Dragging Min-Ju to the parking lot, BiYu suddenly stopped
"You know what you did is very wrong"
"I know but..."
"No, Buts. You are married'' There was a silence as Min-Ju tries to muster up the courage to tell her friend the struggles she is facing
"I'm lonely" Min-Ju confessed
"I have Yong-Sun but the loneliness is still there. I'm forced to portray myself in this fantasy of a happy family. Su-Hyung gets stressed sometimes and he doesn't seem like what a husband does. He is morphing me into something I'm not. When a business deal is beyond his control he chooses something he can control and it's me. You wonder why this is my first time coming back. Not because of JinHai or my parents. It was him, he didn't want me to come back here. I wanted to feel loved something I haven't felt since I married him"
"Why don't you divorce him?"
"You don't think I tried but I have a son... and his priorities are more important than mine. Every day its a battle within my own mind to keep me sane. Do you think I would wear this? I miss wearing dresses, skirts, even blouses. Not a plain sweater with a long skirt. Like every other 'normal' stay at home mother who tolerates her husband's verbal abuses" She said as she holds the seam of her skirt
BiYu without thinking hugged her
"I didn't know you were suffering like that. You should have told me"
"You wouldn't understand because I don't even understand this"
Min-Ju then had a realization
"I married my father. Su-Hyung reminds me of my father"
"If Su-Hyung is like your father then you are going to be nothing like your mother"
"How? I already dress like her. I'm stuck in a loveless verbally abusive relationship like her. We are like twins now."
"HEY" screamed BiYu
"You are nothing like your mother. Where was that highly ambitious girl I know"
"She's gone''
"No, she is not. Your still here buried beneath the stroud he placed on you"
"I know but life is complicated" she said with a sad smile
"Come on. Let's go buy you some new better clothes for you"
"Okay" Min-Ju responded reeling in what BiYu just said
"Hey! Guess what" a paralegal said to GuoWei
"Yeah. What did Min-Ju and BiYu talk about"
"Well... I don't think you want to know"
"Knock Knock" GuoWei said as he walked into Jinhai's office
"You know saying knock knock doesn't mean you can enter"
"I know but you don't stop me. You want to hear something"
"NO" JinHai said without hesitating
"It's about your girlfriend"
"Still NO. I don't interfere with her life" he said without looking up from his work
"No, I don't mean that one...I mean the one you haven't stopped loving" Said GuoWei
That caught his attention and he said
"What?"
GuoWei then explained to JinHai about what he heard and as soon as he heard this is grabbed his jacket
"Hey hey where are you going?" GuoWei said stopping him from going any farther
"I'm gonna kill the bastard" he said calmly
"LOOK! The reason I agreed to 'spy' on her is that you were going hurt her more if you asked her straight-up"
"No, look here. I know her more than you don't get mixed up in what I'm doing"
"You're right. You do know more than me but you were the one who also hurt her. Don't forget you were the one that asked me to find information about her before the wedding so you already dragged me in"
"You're right. So, your choice stop me or not"
GuoWei couldn't say anything. He knew no matter what, he could stop him from doing what his emotions were telling him
"That's what I thought" JinHai said walking out the door
'He's gonna kill him' GuoWei thought
