A Breakfast of Ignorance
Min-Ju came home to Yong-Sun watching old VHS tapes of her 15 years ago
"Oh? What are you doing still up" She said in Korean
"I wasn't tired. Umma*, how old were you?"
"I was 18 years old. Uhh it was almost the middle of the school year"
"Who is that? He looks like me" He asked pointing to a recording of JinHai holding a picture of him when he was a baby
"Hm? It's Umma's friend" but as soon as she said that the recording showed her kissing him
Before Yong-Sun could say anything Min-Ju quickly covered his eyes. Yong-Sun wondered why his mother covered his eyes. She would never do that unless there was bad stuff or kissing on the TV
He wondered why his Umma was kissing that man she called him a friend
Min-Ju knew that recording had more kissing so she quickly turned off the TV and told him to go upstairs
"Umma, was that your boyfriend?"
"WHAT?! Why would you ask that?"
"Because I have never seen you kissing Appa*" What he said was true Min-Ju barely had the chance to talk to Su-Hyung. He was always busy never having the chance to hang out with his son or even his wife. His work always occupied him and there was nobody to blame except her. She married him and she made the choice to stay with him
She tucked Yong-Sun into bed before collapsing onto her bed
-The Next Morning-
Min-Ju reached the law firm to ask BiYu out for breakfast
Yong-Sun as soon as they reached inside the building he ran around the office looking for his aunt "Imo*" Yong-Sun shouted when he found her
"Oh? You're already here. Where's your mom?"
''She still walking here she talking to a man"
"Which man?" She was concerned that Min-Ju was talking to JinHai again. When she walked outside holding Yong-Sun's hand she saw not JinHai but Wang BoLin. They walked up to him and asked why he was here
"I'm meeting JinHai. I was told I breached a contract so he is my lawyer."
''Oh really. I was asking BiYu out to go shopping" Min-Ju said
"Umma no we..." But before Yong-Sun could say anything BiYu covered his mouth preventing him from saying anything else
"Okay, you guys have fun. A pleasure to meet you again Min-Ju" He said with a smug smile
Min-Ju smiled
After they left for breakfast the office started to gossip. GuoWei was listening to the conversation but conflicted to say anything to JinHai
The office was talking about how Min-Ju's son looks like JinHai and how they dated before she left for Korea
GuoWei took a risk and asked JinHai about Yong-Sun
"Do you know about Min-Ju's kid"
"Yeah what about them?" He said looking through BoLin's case file
"Is he... yours?" GuoWei asked somewhat afraid of the answer. "Yeah, He's mine," He said calmly, still flipping through his files. JinHai wasn't the one getting irritated by his questions it was GuoWei
"Why didn't you say anything to her today?"
JinHai hesitated for a second before saying "I know her. I don't want to push her so I'm letting her tell me"
"How do you know she's gonna tell you?" He asked hoping for a reasonable answer but since Min-Ju came back the world has been full of surprises
"Because she loves me and I love her she is gonna to tell me" he said with a grin on his face
BiYu and Min-Ju went to breakfast
"Umma, why did you lie to the uncle about going shopping?"
"Because that person likes your mom but she is doesn't like him" BiYu responded before Min-Ju could explain
"How about the other uncle that was in the house last week?"
"What?!" Min-Ju said choking on her water
"You saw him?" she questioned looking at BiYu for assistance but she wasn't giving her any
"Yeah, do you love him more than Appa?"
Min-Ju put down her chopsticks ''It's complicated. You'll know when you're older?"
"What's so complicated. If you love someone then love them" Min-Ju smiled at her son's arrogance to love
Min-Ju gave her phone to Yong-Sun to play so she and BiYu could take about what happened yesterday
Min-Ju told her everything and BiYu was shocked
"Your life is like a drama'' She said with a hint of jealousy in her voice. "Isn't most dramas end with a happy ending. I can't see this ending happily"
Then something pops into Min-Ju head and she impulsively asked Yong-Sun
"Do you like to go to halmeoni's* restaurant today while Umma has errands to make'' Making BiYu very confused. Wasn't she going to take photos with Yong-Sun?
"Okay. Are you going to see uncle? I think you love him Umma" Min-Ju picks him up and says "Oh, you child. You think too much" She said messing up his hair
Min-Ju drives Yong-Sun to Mrs.Kwan's restaurant and then drove to BiYu's workplace
BiYu questions Min-Ju's motives for going to the law firm unannounced
As she walks to his office, whispers go around the office as Min-Ju continues walking to JinHai's office in the corner. The strange thing is that no one told her nor did she ever went any farther than BiYu's office. How did she know where to go?

*Appa 아빠= Dad
*Halmeoni 할머니= Grandmother
