They were gone
The guy started looking everywhere as he was freightened

5 years later in the Zeroes( A city where there's no violence but with the worst homing conditions. Like the hood but worst.) a kid named Milan was grabbing groceries for his parents. He was walking back to his house until he spotted a hungry person on the ground

Milan was taken into a base with a bunch of other people with numbers. He spotted some with a 1, one with a 5, even one with a 10. There was 20 people inside the room

General: (Serious) So you all chose the life of killing huh?!
Milan spotted a guy standing before them
General: (Serious) Well you know the rules. Once you kill your first person there's no going back, and in order to make it to Mako city, you have to kill each other...until you have more than 10 kills. That's the rule! Do I make myself clear!?

Thomas: (Smiling menacingly) Then there's even Locontan city, the colony of 50's through 99's, the entire place is like a giant city; giant buildings, better weapons, the food way better than the shit we have to eat here

Thomas: (Smiling menacingly) Then Manium, which is where 100's through 998's live. I heard it's practically the future there with the flying cars and very powerful weapons...But do you know the one place I want to go to right now?! The Gods, the land where The 1,000 lives, where we can find paradise, where heaven is...That's all I want...Just a life like that
Narrator: For those who are still confused, once you kill your first person, you are ordered to take the trial to get more than 10 kills in order to go to Mako city. Mako city has apartment complex's, weaponry, and food that's way better than the things they ate in Zeroes. Although, the better your life get, the worst it'll take for you to survive. Living in any place other then Zeroes, you always got to watch your back, cause it can happen any minute, any second. As your number goes up your life get's better but your chances of survival get lower until you make it to The Gods. There at The Gods the 1,000(The leader of the entire world they live in) give the person who's 999 a choice. Either live in The Gods in peace, or fight em for their name. Though no one has ever won that title before
Milan: (Crying) Let me ask you something, the people you killed...Who were they to you?
Thomas: (Shocked) Hm? Well...(Smiling) That's a pretty dumb question. Do you think my family would've let me walk willingly in here--

They started running towards each other again and were in a series of attacks from each other until Ryan grabbed Thomas's arm holding the knife and Thomas doing the same with Ryan's arm. Ryan quickly grabbed his knife back and Thomas doing the same and were continuing the series of attacks from each other. Thomas, finally attacking Ryan in the face with his knife, kicked him to the rocky wall. Ryan's cheek started letting out a little blood
