08. Reunion in Another World

Heya it's me... I've been sick since this Wednesday and still really sick now

The reason i can post this chapter because before I'm sick i already write this chapter halfway... So then it's took me 3 days to finish the other half.

Btw I'm gonna come back to this chapter again after my sickness gone and try to fix the other half but for now i just post this.

"Everything is finished" I said to Baka-red and Ophis, who were looking at me with wide open eyes.

After that, Ophis and Baka-red started to look around them.

"You really destroyed this entire universe... I can't sense any trace of living beings at all" Baka-red spoke.

I also began to looking around the area around us that was just white and white and white.

"Yes, it's 'The End', the ability that will erase whatever I want, and even though they are immortal or can come back to life if they die, it's still useless if they are erased from existence" I explained to Baka-red.

I then turned back to Baka-red and asked, "So what is your name? Even though I call you Baka-red, that's not your real name, right?"

Upon hearing that, Baka-red immediately turned to me and looked at me with her mischievous eyes.

"So, what will you two do? Are you going back to your home or what?"

Upon hearing that, I saw them both thinking about something, but in the end, Ophis raised her small hand to hold mine.

"I want to come with you, and give me more snacks," Ophis said, looking at me with her emotionless eyes.

Oh wow, I didn't expect Ophis to get so addicted to the snacks from the sky realm, if this continues I have to make more snacks before they run out.

Then I turned to Grisella and saw that she was still thinking.

"Hmm, maybe I'll come with you as well, I'm curious about your world too, and besides, since the threat from the other world has disappeared, I don't need to be in the dimension gap all the time."

Upon hearing that, I nodded and told them both, "Then welcome to our home."

I started to open a portal to Sturm, which was currently at home.

The two strongest creatures in this world really is weird, one is easily deceived and the other loves to act as a dignified dragon.

Hmm, if I remember correctly, in season 2 of the anime dxd, it ended with an attack at the peace conference, right?

Hmmm... well, I'll try to check out that place, beside the Devil King said he invited me to his house.

"I want to see where this ophis-like power comes from, do you both want to come along?"

Ophis and Grisella nodded, and finally, I created a portal to go to that place.

And now the three of us are standing in the middle of these people who seem to want to fight each other.

Hmm, maybe we arrived at the wrong time... but oh well.

I then noticed that the female devil with glasses was the source of the power similar to Ophis that I sensed.

"Hmm" Ophis replied simply.

Oh well, maybe I'll just greet that Devil king and then head back home.

"Grayfia-chan! What's wrong with you?" I suddenly heard someone's voice sounding panic.

Then I turned to the direction of the voice and saw a woman in a maid outfit holding her head.

It seems like her head is hurting, I didn't know devils could have headaches like humans.

...? Wait did she's just call her Grayfia? Hmm it's feels like i hear that name before... "!!!"

But before I could try to remember where I heard that name, suddenly my head started to hurt.

It felt like something was blocking my memory from coming out, and I knew this feeling.

"Hey! Silver-haired maid, stop thinking for a moment! If you don't, your head won't stop hurting," I shouted at the maid, and after a few moments, it seemed like her headache disappeared.

"Hahhh...hahhh...hahhh," the silver-haired maid looked panting, as if the pain exceeded her limit.

"What's wrong, Grayfia?" Sirzechs asked the white-haired maid.

"Hey, stop, don't ask anything yet. It will make her headache come back," I warned them before the silver-haired maid could try to explain.

Upon hearing that, they turned to me, except for the silver-haired maid who still looked down, trying not to think about anything.

"It seems you know why Grayfia is like this. Can you explain what's happening with her?" Sirzechs asked me.

But before answering, I had to make sure of something first.

And this place has been too noisy with the sounds of people fighting and using magic continuously.

"Gopherwood Ark."

After I said that, I could feel time starting to slow down and eventually stop, except for the people around me.

Ophis and Grisella seemed uninterested in all of this because they had been silent since we arrived.

I should have just told them to go to my house first instead of bringing them here... but oh well.

Oh right, I forgot the woman was also nearby, so time didn't stop for her too.

Soon after, i can fell that something that holding my memory were instantly destroyed.

"Ughh!?" And memories of when I was in the Skyrealm and found a silver-haired girl covered in wounds began to resurface.

"Aghhh, this!!" I could hear Grayfia in pain as the contract started to break.

After Mithra destroyed the contract, it immediately disappeared because breaking a contract that had been made consumed all of Mithra's energy.

So that's it... I remember now.

I then turned to Grayfia and I could see that she was also looking at me.

Suddenly, I could see tears streaming down Grayfia's face, and quickly she ran towards me and hugging me.

"Rei! We finally meet again. I'm sorry, this is all my fault... forgive me, forgive me..." Grayfia hugged me while crying.

"Eh? Grayfia-chan?" They all looked puzzled by their friend's behavior.

But what else could I do... I then returned Grayfia's embrace while patting her back.

The reason Grayfia apologized was because she asked me to send her back to her world.

After Grayfia strengthened herself in the Skyrealm, she thought she could return to her world, solve her problems, and then come back here.

But neither she nor I knew that someone returning from the Skyrealm had to have their memories of the Skyrealm erased because it was a rule in sky realm.

If I didn't do that, Grayfia would be erased when she wanted to return to her world, and eventually, she would die.

And back then, when I wasn't as strong as I am now, I could only follow that rule and use a contract with Mithra to erase Grayfia's memories of the Skyrealm and my memories of her.
