Questioning

I woke up to the banging on the door of the room I took and slowly walked to the door. After I opened the door I noticed a bunch of people standing there, the kids, Nana, and someone who I didn't recognize.

"Uhhh, how may I help you?"

"You said you would answer some of our questions at noon, it's now 2:45PM." The kid who spoke to me earlier said.

"Hmmm, ok I'll answer your questions while I eat, I'm hungry again."

All I received was deadpan stares at me as I walked passed them down to the kitchen. I started cooking my food and when I had a moment to look away I turned to them and looked at them like they were stupid.

"What is that look for?"

"Uh I'm waiting for you to ask questions ya idiots. I can answer your questions while I cook."

I turned back to my food and I swear I heard someone fall over again but could not be bothered once again.

Nana then asked, "Who are you? And why are you here?"

"One question at a time and I'll answer the first one. I am basically the personification of the planets will to survive. Though I honestly couldn't really be fucked."

"LANGUAGE"

"Ok don't care ask more questions ya fuckien idiots."

Some of the kids and the guy behind Nana were trying their best not to laugh and Nana's face was twitching in anger.

Nana asked again, "Why are you here?"

"Someone else ask a question you already got a turn."

Nana's face was twitching even more, then one of the kids asked, "Why are you here miss?"

"Tsk, you are no fun. I'm here because I'm bored and wanted to have fun. OO foods done, ok everyone lets go to the table!"

Everyone in the room started following me like ducks to the table and I couldn't help but giggle.

"Ma'am what do you find funny?"

"Oh just that you guys are following me like ducks."

Some of the younger girls then got red faces and the boys looked embarrassed.

"Can you explain what you meant by you are the personification of the planets will?"

"Nope, if I did you would be dead shortly after my explanation. Not by me of course I honestly couldn't care less if you knew. It's the asshats who you worship that would hunt you."

"Can you tell us why you decided to come here to clear your boredom?"

"Cause I decided to go check out what the race that is killing the planet was living like."

"WHAT WE ARE KILLING THE PLANET?!?!?!" Most of the kids yelled.

I simply just gave them the 'are you stupid look' then looked back at the adults in the room who were looking at their feet.

"Ok, I have lost most of my motivation to answer any of your questions, so I am going to ask a few questions to you. First question, why the fuck are you here Nana? I thought you worked at the Garden? I saw you there a while back when I visited but you left pretty soon."

Nana was clearly taken back since the person in front of her did not look familiar at all. "I am simply a temporary replacement since the previous caretaker broke the rules and needs to be replaced, I am going to head back to the garden soon since the new caretaker arrives tomorrow. Are you Naomi or Shiro by any chance since thats all I could think you could be if you know me?"

"Who? OH HAHAHAHA, You mean the Klaxosaur Queen and the Human that was saved by her who thought it was fucking hilarious to walk into the your 'Safe ground' called the Garden which makes child soldiers like they own the place then yea! That was the funniest shit I have seen in thousands of years! But yea I was there then, I saw what they were doing and thought it would be hilarious to watch while invisible and damn I was right. Also you mean the rules that are killing your race?"

"Nana, you met the Klaxosaur Queen! What was she like?" The children were instantly fixed on the first part of my statement and completely ignored the second part, except for one kid who looked horrified.

"Miss, d-did you just say the rules were killing our race?" Said the terrified kid, and the rest of the kids all got just as scared.

"That I did, I find it kind of hilarious kind of not that your race has been blindly following the orders of an alien race for no reason. And guess what those alien fuckers want? They want to wipe out all life on Earth, including humans, well maybe. They might inslave the race but who cares. By the time they show up in 20 or so years to do anything I will be dead, as I said earlier I am the personification of the planets will, if the planet dies I die. I can not die any other way. Welp I am going to go explore. Good luck dealing with your existential crisis, I'll be here for the next few days. Toodleoo~."

I then left the horrified children and adults to go look around the Birdcage because I have only seen it through the anime and it honestly didn't show much other than a small lake, a greenhouse, and the boardinghouse. I decided to go check out the rest that wasn't shown.

After exploring the the entire Birdcage I realized that the anime did really show everything, theres literally nothing here other than the things shown but a bit of forest and thats it. I decided I wanted to make myself a little place to chill by the lake for the next few days, since I doubt the other folks would like my presence, though I would still raid their pantries for food whenever I was hungry.

(Nana POV)

The personification of the planet, let's call her Earth for now, words hit us like a truck. The fact that the people who were "guiding us to a better future" were in fact aliens who wanted to kill off all life on the planet and the planet itself was going to die within 20 years shattered any conception that any of us had about the world. If Earth were to say it, she would say "You all are absolutely fucked." The worst part is she is right. After Earth left no one left the room till it was time for dinner but I had to make one thing clear before anyone left.

"Not a single word of what we heard today to anyone at all. Not even each other. The worst thing is I highly doubt that was everything Earth wanted to say today, she likely had more to say but is simply telling us the beginning so we can change the future slightly."

Everyone nodded and then one of the girls here raised their hand.

"Yes 954?"

"Is the lady Earth?"

"If what she says is true then it is very likely she is."

We ate a silent dinner before Earth walked in without a care in the world and made herself some food before sitting down with us. A lot of us were looking at her, and I couldn't blame them since I was too.

"What?"

"Ms. Earth, is there any hope at all for us to live or for you to live?" One of the boys asked the question we all wanted to know.

"Just call me Terra, and do you want the truth?"

"Yes please." I responded.

"Well, the truth is that I honestly don't know. That Klaxosaur Queen, Naomi these past few years has been so different than the gloomy Queen she has been the past 60 Million years. She might pull something off but your race as a whole needs to change or you all are doomed to die. Shiro is very very likely to be the last human alive in the next hundred years or so should nothing change. To put it simply, Y'all fuckers need to change fast or you all are absolutely fucked."

And she said what I thought she might. Are we really doomed or can we save our planet, our home? Or are we so blind that we couldn't save it till it's too late? Papa- no gods above all, we need a miracle as soon as possible.
