How it all Started

On the bus, Alex and other students were given some refreshments. Others were chatting and

getting to know more about themselves while Alex grew tired and fell asleep. By the time he woke up, they had arrived at their location,

which was the Pearson International Airport owned by one of the richest cultivations in the world Mr. Pearson, who was one of the originals.

When they went into the airport, they were greeted by Sergeant Austin who introduced himself and told them that he was in charge of the Silver Lane Military Academy at Auckland in New Zealand.

By the time they arrived at the Silver Lane Military Academy it was already late so, they gave everyone their room numbers and keys. Alex went to the room assigned to him and found out that they were already there.

They introduced themselves as Ethan and Liam. Ethan was a fire ability user and also looked

strong and bulky, while Liam was a water ability who looked rather weak and small unlike Ethan.

They chatted for a while before Alex decided to take a shower. After his shower, Alex went back to the room and found out his friends were already asleep so, he fell asleep after some push ups.

The next morning when Alex woke up, he saw that his room mates were still asleep so he decided

to take his shower get dressed and did some exercise before the day properly began.

The gathering of freshmen was scheduled for 7:00am, so he went to have breakfast in the cafeteria before the freshmen started along side other students, before time.

It was just 6:30am and all of the freshmen where gathered at the hall. And at 7:00 some instructors arrived at the hall and the students were asked to choose their classes.

Alex went through a list of classes, and he decided to choose the Combat and Tech class. After choosing their classes, there was a queue for students without abilities and Alex joined them, he already knew that they were going to offer him an ability book.

Because, he had already read it before for the guide given to them when they entered during their tour and had analyzed that this was to make the students indebted to the military when they graduated.

When it was his turn the attendant Mary introduced her self to him and offered an ability book, it was a level one earth ability book, at first, Alex thought it was a good idea but, he didn't want to work under the Military as his parents.

Alex rejected the ability book, which was a shock to Mary, but she couldn't force him to take the ability book.

When everything was sorted, they were all asked to take a test at first, Alex thought it was

ridiculous since they already knew he didn't have an ability but he had to oblige to the rules after thinking about the promise he made to his parents and graduating from the academy was the only way he could make their dreams come to pass.
