1 Prologue : A Mass of White

In a place surrounded by ash as pure as snow and trees with leaves of white, the echoing cries of a thousand soldiers and a hint of red can also be seen in sight.

"Death to the Evil God!"

"He is the only one left! Kill him! Rape his ancestors!"

"What are we waiting for?! Tickle his tits to damnation!"

A troop of soldiers shout out their lungs as they marched towards a distant castle made of ebony. The colossal structure seemed so out of place on this land full of nothing but white. The army continued to stride as if nothing and no one can stop their pride.

Leading them in front were three people of distinct silhouettes.

One was of a small stature with hair hanging loose in the air. With beauty and charisma that can topple all pavillions and erect all kinds of things in men and women.

The other, a giant. A height reaching of almost 15ft with veins as thick as a stallion's reproductive organ. On his arms are two large shields with bladed edges.

The last one, a tall and handsome man with dark skin brooding with elegance. Holding a shield on his right hand, a white long sword on his left.

Needless to say, they were all men.

When they were almost just a hundred meters away from the walls of the castle, the small one leading the army raised his hands as if to signal the troops to stop.

"Halt."

And as if working as a hive, almost all the troops stopped at the same time.

"Men, we have reached this far only because of your efforts!",

'Oh boy, here we go again.', the giant couldn't help but gloat in disgust while seeing this "little" man claim the limelight.

"Today is the day that the people of Kurtina will forever be indebted to you!"

"Hurrah! Praise General Balla!"

"Praise the Great Generals! Praise the Lamesa Alliance!"

"General Balla!", "General Tibay!", "General Spada!", the troops shouted each of their leaders' names in unison.

"Today, we will kill the most evil being in this world, the reason for all of our suffering! The ugly creature who caused the Mana Calamity will fall today by your own hands!"

Hearing this statement, the dark skinned general, Spada, only let out a wry smile. His eyes containing a hint of solitude.

"We will look into his ugly eyes as we stab him in every corner of his sinful body!"

"Remember, this creature deserves no mercy! Because of him, our wives, our children, our family.... our future are all lost. He summoned these filthy creatures that keep on eating and eating Mana until there is nothing left for our people! But look at this place, it is brimming with Mana so much so that we can see nothing but white!"

General Balla held up his hand while holding a pitch-black creature that looks like an ant, except having a size larger than a dog. He then crushed the head of the creature with his hand. White floating particles oozed out from the dead ant.

"Men! We will wi-"

"You've been talking long enough."

Suddenly, a silhouette appeared out of nowhere behind Balla. A... man in a full suit of armor that seems to be floating.

"It's..."

"The Sorcerer!"

"I... I thought he wasn't going to join us?"

"Hahahaha! With this, the Evil God wouldn't stand a chance against us anymore!"

"Sorcerer!"

"The Great Sorcerer Laya!"

"What the.. Fool!"

Suddenly, the soldier who mentioned the sorcerer's name turned to ash.

"You... have no right to speak of my name."

Everyone froze on the spot and didn't dare to let their nose hair move even at the slightest.

Even Balla, could only turn quiet. "Senior, killing them is... these people have put their effort in-"

"And?"

"...."

"Effort? What effort? All they did was ride on the coat tails of your glory. None of them will be remembered for this."

"They did this for their family and for the people!", Balla continues to retort.

"Family? HA! Those who truly care for their family are with them right now! All you have are nothing but fame hungry fools."

The other two generals, Tibay and Spada couldn't help but let out a small sigh.

In one way or the other, Laya was right. Those who truly cared are either dead along with their families right now, or are taking care of them in this moment. The war was over.

"Senior... and little bastard. It doesn't matter anymore, what matters is that our goal is already right in front of us. And now that Senior Laya is here, we have nothing to fear!"

Everybody knows that in this world, there are 5 supreme beings.

The three Great Generals-- Balla of the People, Tibay of the Shield, and Spada of the Shadow, each having their own specialties.

The new member of the party and the oldest out of everyone in the field right now, the Sorcerer. Laya of the Sky.

And finally, Kore of the Earth, the man who used to rule amongst the 5 supreme beings, the shining beacon of Kurtina. The man now known as the Bringer of The Calamity, the Evil God Kore.

----------------------------

"I will go alone.", Sorcerer Laya was the first to break the silence he created, and he broke it so well it's still broken.

"...."

"Tch, Senior! That is unreasonable, even for you!", Tibay roared like a mad man.

Like hearning nothing, the Sorcerer proceeded to walk towards the giant gate of the castle.

Nobody knew what the Sorcerer was thinking, was he so confident in his abilities that he thinks he can defeat the Evil God by himself?

Spada, the one who is only wryly smiling since the beginning of this chapter and has the weakest presence, suddenly revealed a hint of curiosity and delight.

Balla couldn't help but grind his teeth in silence, he had so many things to say but couldn't, afraid that it would incite his Senior's wrath.

Tibay continued to roar his complaints until Laya turned in his direction. Even though they could not see his face as he is wearing a full set of armor, all of them could not help but step back, specially Tibay who kneeled from the mere pressure of Laya's killing intent. Some of the ordinary soldiers even died on the spot.

'Agh, Even now... a hundred years of muscle training, isn't even enough to catch up?', Tibay's eyes are full of fear and respect for his senior.

Balla was still grinding his teeth beneath his calm expression, 'Damn it.. damn it, all the attention from the soldiers have been taken away from me'

"You guys... are still young, full of ambition. You do not know the extent of the strength of that which you want to defeat. Walking inside this castle will only lead to your death. You may be able to shatter mountains with your fists, but Kore can do that when he sneezes."

"Do any of you people understand?!", The people could almost feel a little bit of sadness beneath the thick armor that Laya is wearing.

"Laya."

Suddenly, Spada called his name and they both stared at each other for a while before suddenly turning away, almost nodding in agreement.

"Enough, you children will go home now."

Suddenly, all the soldiers including the three Great Generals were surprised to suddenly see their surroundings change. Now, there were other people, looking at them in surprised.

Around them were wooden infrastructures, houses, buildings, and a huge plaza full of people. One glance, all the soldiers knew where they were.

The main capital of the Orthlond country. A thousand kilometers away from where they were just seconds ago.

--------------------------------------------------

Sorcerer Laya was walking in a very long corridor, touching every corner of the walls, as if reminiscing of old memories gone by. He sometimes chuckled quietly, paused, sighed and went on to walk again.

This repeated until he reached a huge door.

"Evil God Kore, I am here... please open the door."

"Oh, is that you. Little Laya?" Suddenly the door opened following a domineering but playful voice. It felt like even just hearing this man breathe will cause mortals to die.

Sorcerer Laya entered slowly, seemingly thinking the words he wants to say... but nothing comes out until he was directly right in front of a throne. There, a man that seems to be appearing and disappearing like a ghost is sitting.

"Is it finally time? Will you be the one to kill me? Hahahahahahahaha!"

"Come then, shall we do this?"

"Evil G- Kore, I am so.. so sorry.. and yes. We shall do this!"

Suddenly, the castle started shaking and all the fragments of stones flowed around Laya as he rushed towards the Evil God.

"Kooooorreeeee!"

"HAHAHAHAHAHA!"

And then, there was nothing.

-----------------------------------------------------

"What the f*ck was that?!", A young man woke up shouting and gasping for air.

Suddenly, the loud screeching of tires can be heard as a young man's body swayed left and right.

"What the sh*****t, we're going to die, May! Do you even know how to drive!!!??"

Another screeching sound can be heard until the car they were on totally stopped.

"Don't you dare call me May, Crate! I am your Aunt.. your A-U-N-T, aunt May! And why did you suddenly shout while I was driving?! Don't you know that's very dangerous? And we're only in this road because of you! Because of you I had to quit my job again and now we're moving! Just why did you have to display your powers like that like some weird ass f*cking m*therf*cking stupid little Sh*t!"

"Woah, relax, May." The boy said as he chuckled.

"Ugh! You.. you!"

"Relax, okay? I..."

"I just had a little weird confusing dream, that's all."
