Enola POV

i ran away from the idiot i call my husband and bumped into a wall and fell down

groaning i rubbed my head trying to ease the pain when i heard a manly voice asking

"Why the hell were you running like hungry dogs are after you?"

I looked up and saw an old probably in his late 50s but well built man.

I got on my feet and spoke

"Hello Dad!"

Well he is Sandra's dad not mine

also i know he is her dad because from what i know Sandra is actually quiet rich. they must have a lot of maids and butlers

even if they have such an old butler he would have addressed me as miss or madam and wouldn't be that built.

also his eye brows and eye color is similar to the bodies i am in.

"Welcome home Sandy"

He spoke me pulled me a hug which was really awkward for me.

My actual father never hugged me and being hugged by someone's else father who believe i am his actual daughter is weird

Did any of that made sense?

"I am so happy you came to visit. i thought you were still angry at setting your marriage and not being present at you'd big day"

He said

yes he wasn't there at the wedding which was questionable. i asked John but he just baffled non sense and changed the topic which was suspicious.

"Well are you still angry?"

He confirmed when saw he zoned out.

I virtually face palmed myself and made a mental note on stop zoning out

"Off course Not Dad! i am not angry at you"

He smiled at my answer. I had to admit i felt happy seeing him smiles genuinely.

"Hello Christoph!" John said joining the conversation.

So Sandra's Dad name is Christoph.

"Hello John!"

they both shook hands.

why are they calling each other by names?

"Have you been keeping my daughter well?"

Christoph asked narrowing his eyes at him

for some reasons that didn't sound like it was asked in a good way

"well ask your daughter" John replied

Christoph looked at me. i was about to blurt everything out but i spotted John burning gaze saying dare to say anything about last night.

"He is treating me fine dad!"

I replied pressing my lips together

"Sandra why don't you go and take stroll in the garden. i have something to talk to Christoph"

John suggested.

my eyes sparkled! yes i was looking for this opportunity. i can find that damn clock now!

I nodded and just retreated to anywhere away from them.
