A Visitor

A full moon light illuminates this dreadly forest giving it a sense of fake tranquility, a weary traveller might mistaken this place for a sanctuary and rest here under the full moon night only to end up inside a beast's stomach.

Even this fake tranquility couldn't erase the forest's dreadly atmosphere, arthur was restless, the forest was full of monsters and their terrifying growls, he was so paranoid that even the rustling of leaves sounded like a monster to him.

"I can't sleep.. " Arthur woke up then he scanned his surrounding through his sharingan and breath a sigh of relief when he couldn't find any monster near him. "I can't help being restless, I may be paranoid but I have always felt like I am not alone in this tree... "

he immediately used his sharingan to scan his surrounding but he couldn't find any anomalies so he deactivated them. Just as he was about to sleep again he heard rustling sound below him.

Arthur immediately activated his sharingan and hid between the branches.

The rustling sound became more louder and louder. Through his sharingan , Arthur could see a man rushing towards his tree.

'A Human?' Arthur thought but he didn't move from his spot. The forest was full of mysteries, what if this humanoid figure was just some monster acting as humans to catch unsuspecting humans?

The man stopped running, after reaching his tree, breathing heavily.

Judging from his looks, he was a male who looked to be in his 30s with a beard and long auburn hair, he was dressed as a warrior with leather armor and a sword hanging on his waist.

"Looks like I lost them" the man turned his head towards the direction he came from and mumbled softly.

'Breathing heavily, he is clearly out of breath like someone or something was chasing him.'

Arthur was in a dilemma, he wanted to meet with the man since he was his only hope to navigate out of this forest but that man was being chased by something and he didn't wanted to be complicated as well.

'He has an armor and a sword, he is running away from something in the middle of the night inside this forest nonetheless, there is a high chance that he is a convict or a bandit and he is might be chased by a monster too' This scene was just too familiar to Arthur. He had experienced it himself. The danger was too high and so was the stake, if he didn't meet with this person then God knows for how long he would be lost in this forest and he was not confident if he could even survive till the next night. Suddenly a strong wind came rushing and disturbed his thoughts,

'It's here !'

A 4 foot grey wolf came rushing in towards the man, opening it's wide mouth to bite off his arms but luckily he defended against it with his sword, both of them fought in a frenzy and entered a death battle but the man was being continuously pushed back.The wolf was blood thirsted and fighting in a frenzy without a care for his life as if it had lost its mind.

Arthur was panicking, he knew the wolf was of body forging realm thanks to the previous Monsterdex photo which means that there was a whole pack of them coming here!

He was afraid that climbing down from this tree will caught the attention of other grey wolves and if he didn't move then the pack of wolf will smell his scent and eventually find him out after being done with that man. Just as he was wracking his brain for answer the monsterdex spoke up with it's robotic voice. 'New sub category: Grey wolf frenzied state: A grey wolf who failed to reach the foundation establishment realm and has fallen to his inner demons. It has lost its senses and will attack everything it sees without a care for its life even its own pack members thus being exiled from its pack. '

after hearing that, Arthur decided to take his chances to help this man and get out of this goddamn forest.
