The Thoughts of Others

Minyul woke up to see Tatsuya who was still deep asleep. Tatsuya was breathing steadily and was laying on his side, facing Minyul. He gently touched his cheek and said aloud, "Oh you have no idea how you torture me. Do you master? Just seeing your face like this makes my heart ache with want, but you don't know that." He gently kissed Tatsuya's forehead and was off to go make breakfast.

Once Minyul left the room, Tatsuya's eyes opened and his face was bright red. He touched his forehead where he felt Minyul's kiss. 'Did he really mean that? It felt like he did.... Do I feel the same about him?' he thought. He shook his head and rushed over to the bathroom to wash his face. Once he was done, he went outside.

"Hello master, would you like french toast, eggs, and bacon, or would you like a spinach, mushroom, ham omelette with croissant?" Minyul asked.

"U-um I'll have the french toast, eggs, and bacon, thanks for making breakfast." Tatsuya replied quickly.

"No problem. I should be done in about forty five minutes."

"Ok." he replied while walking into the living room to watch TV. After watching the new episode of his favorite show, he helped set the table and the two began their day. Today was the day that the two would spend a day at the mall.

They ate their breakfast and went to get ready for their day ahead. Tatsuya put on converse with black jeans. and a hoodie. Minyul put on blue jeans, a grey shirt with red and blue on it, and tied a red plad flannel around his waist. The two walked to the bus and took the route to the mall.

Once they arrived, Tatsuya was instantly happy and filled with excitement. As they walked around, they visited a few little shops. They went to one that sold fresh lemonade, one that sold homemade churros, and one that sold homemade chocolates. The lemonade was sweet and sour and it left a tangy flavor in your mouth which made you want more. The churros were fluffy and soft. And the chocolates were very sweet abd creamy. Once they were done, they went to the theater and watched a movie. In the muddle of the movie, Tatsuya's eyes shifted lime green and many words filled his head which made him wince in pain. Though just as fast as it came, it went. The pain quickly subsided and the words stopped in an instant.

'What was that?' Tatsuya thought while holding his head.

Minyul noticed this strange behavior and whispered in his ear, "Are you okay?"

"Yeah, I'm fine. The screen was just bright for a second, that's all." Tatsuya replied quietly.

"Okay just tell me if something is wrong."

"I will."

Right after Tatsuya had said that, a lady that was sitting in front of them shushed them while glaring. The two gave an apologetic gesture and face, then watched the rest if the movie. They exited the theater and decided to go to the arcade.

As they entered, the place was lively with kids running around and many people playing the games. There was laughter and joy everywhere you went. Once they stared to walk around and look at all the games, the words once again filled Tatsuya's head. He fell onto the floor and everything around him looked and sounded foggy.

He strained his eyes trying to keep them open and he held his head from the overwhelming noise.

Minyul bent down and tried to ask if Tatsuya was fine, "Hey, Tatsuya, are you okay!? What's wrong!?"

Many people began to stop and stare at the two, some whispered to others, some stared, some asked for help, but in the end, they all did nothing. Minyul grabbed Tatsuya's arm and put ot around his shoulder. He took him to the side of the building and sat him down and leaned him against the wall.

Tatsuya was breathing heavily and was covered in sweat. His eyes were glowing lime green, they were so bright that they rivaled even the brightness of lightning.

'I hate her, she is so irritating.'

'He's cute, I wonder if he's single.'

'Ugh, I need to lose weight.'

'I can't wait to watch the movie.'

'Mm, this food is delicious.'

Many people's thoughts from all around them filled his mind and ears. He covered them in a desperate attempt to block them out.

Minyul hurriedly put up a barrier in case if Tatsuya's powers were to go out of control. Once the barrier was put up, the words slowly became quiet and his eyes slowly returned back to normal.

Miyul gently placed his hand on Tatsuya's cheek and asked, "Are you okay?"

Tatsuya looked up to see Minyul's worried face. The warmness of his hand made him feel comforted and safe. He replied, "Yeah, I'm fine."

"What happened?"

"..... I was able to hear other people's thoughts and it made my head spin."

"Are you fine or does your head still hurt?"

"I'm fine, I feel much better now. How about instead of the arcade, we go Go Cart racing." Tatsuya suggested happily.

"Okay, if you say so." Minyul said while offering a hand to help him up. Tatusya gladly took his hand and they spent a wonderful rest of their day.
