Ikena's bone arches as he walked towards his house, only to enter and find it empty. His things were gone from the place he had come to call his own since he completed his turned fifteen. Since that day, years ago, When a bride had been chosen for him, everything had happened with a speed that left him feeling as though he was in trance.

He remembered how his father had spoken to him when he was preparing for his first battle. No amount of training and preparation was enough to prepare for the heat of ware. Suddenly he had to share a house with a stranger. He contemplated sleeping on the cold floor in this old house. After giving her wedding clothes to Nikita for washing, Ada emerged from the bathroom. She stepped into their room and found the prince sitting on the bed. Suddenly she felt naked in her night clothe. Her heart began to beat and pound at the knowledge of what would be expected of her in a few minutes. Why had she asked Nikita for a light clothes? She should have worn a thicker one and died from the heat.

Her mother had prepared her for this night. She was to surrender without a thought for herself. She was to obey without question because she held the fate of the next heir of Afudo in the palm of her hands. Ada clutched her clothe and pull it higher above chest, only to reveal more of her body. What am I doing?, she thought to her self as she stood at the door, half challenging her husband to devour her like he was expected to, and half pleading for his patience as she fumbled with her errant clothe.
